OLTL's Bree Williamson Lands Role as a Shrink on SyFy's, Haven!

One of our favorite actresses, Bree Williamson ( Jessica, One Life to Live) is putting away her days of playing a woman with a serious mental illness … DID …  and moving on to playing the other side of it – playing a mental therapist in her new role in the upcoming season of SyFy’s, Haven!

According to TV Line,  the supernatural show story editors, Lilla and Nora Zuckerman revealed the Williamson casting info this past Sunday on WormholeRiders.net’s BlogTalk Radio podcast.   “She is playing Haven‘s resident shrink.  We talk about (Adam “Edge” Copeland’s character) Dwight being the ‘cleaner,’ and  Claire (Williamson’s role)  is in a way the ‘mental cleaner,”  the duo stated.   Haven‘s 13-episode Season 3 is slated to bow later this year.

For those not familiar with the backdrop of the series Haven here is what you need to know! “Syfy’s one-hour drama series Haven, starring Emily Rose (Jericho, Brothers and Sisters) is based on the novella The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King. The series follows the shrewd and confident FBI agent Audrey Parker (Rose) who has a lost past, and arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine on a routine case. Before long, her natural curiosity lands her in the epicenter of activity in this curious enclave, which turns out to be a longtime refuge for people that are affected by a range of supernatural afflictions.   As the townspeople’s dormant abilities begin to express themselves, Audrey helps keep these forces at bay while discovering the many secrets of Haven — including one surrounding her own surprising connections to this extraordinary place.”

So what do you think of Bree playing a “shrink” after playing so many alters?  We kind of dig the idea!
