Next week is the week that DAYS have been waiting for. Sami and the Salem gang will finally learn the truth about baby Sydney and the explosive fireworks will be set-off that will forever change the lives of many of the central characters, and one of them being EJ Dimera, played by James Scott.
In the often confusing but brilliant twist and turns and angles of this baby-switch, Scott reveals in this interview that he was able for the most part to keep the entire charade by Nicole, straight. Hard to do! Even for someone who has followed soap plots for decades… at times I had to check my baby scorecard!
James discusses how EJ would like to give some payback to the charater of Brady for keeping the secret, how “EJami” fans may have good times a-coming, and how EJ’s darker side will continue to florish in his new drug kingpin storyline and then some. The charming actor tells me this month and into the early part of next year, all roads of the stories make DAYS must see TV.
Getting to work with Arianne Zuker throughout the story and its unraveling, has been a pleasure to James. Scott reveals that Zuker put her heart and soul into the baby-drama, and the fact that she is pregnant in real life makes the stakes for the actress, he feels, even higher when playing the emotional life of Nicole.
James is also my guest this week on-air on syndicated radio in our second week of the new Scott and Melissa Reeves Show. He can be heard today through next Thursday as our featured guest.
