General Hospital’s Jen Lilley chats with Michael Fairman on the red carpet at the 39th Annual Daytime Emmys. Jen reveals how she is handling and dealing with the news that Kirsten Storms will soon be coming back to the role of Maxie Jones, a role that Jen has been playing for quite some time and has made her own and become very popular in it. In addition, Jen discusses what it would be like for her if she were to win an Emmy!

  1. Bren says:

We know who to stick close to in the event of the Apocalypse, since she always has food on the ready!

I think Jen and Christina Bennett Lind are the best recasts I’ve ever seen, who took iconic roles, made them their own, and really shone.

  2. Marilyn Moore says:

I think it is a shame that Kirsten Storms is coming back. The character of Maxie has changed under Jen Lilly now and she deserves and earned the right to keep this role. I’m just saying…

  3. Smoochie says:

I really like Jen and think she has done a phemonenal job playing Maxie. She had a major undertaking not only having to replace a well-loved character, but replacing the actress who created Maxie with a razor wit speak/mind partnered with a spitfire personality. I am amazed at how easily Jen took over and kept Maxie intact. Than being said there is only one Maxie for me, and that is Kirsten.
