The emmys should be like GHs 50th: they should invite back all past emmy winners(who are still with us of course) as presenters if willing and with clips of past winners and their shows. It also should pay tribute to those past winners we have lost in front and in back of the camera these last 40 years! Have a feeling this emmy show may end up online one day!

“General Hospital” is going to sweep like no show has ever swept before.

“GH” won more awards than any soap last year and that was when “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” had contenders going up against the show. With there being no nominees from the cancelled soaps, “GH” will kill this year.

Joshua, you are mistaken about OLTL. They will possibly have contenders for this year’s Emmy Awards as they were on the air for the first couple of weeks last January, 2012. So, they could put some contenders up there for their finale.

Well, the ”directors” never get mentioned, and without the directors the scene would fall flat..
And the soaps have more than the head writer, whom never receive mention of note.
It takes a village to put a daily soap on the air..
