    Likely because Debbi said she wasn’t nominating ANY of her work. Plus, I don’t know if NAACP would recognize a former web series as a daytime drama.

    DAYS needs more colour. It’s doing so well in nearly every other area. But they haven’t hired an African American actor in YEARS.

    Cameron aside. Just goes to show you how memorable he was.

    They could have nominated him for the stripper storyline.

    I agree. Diversity only adds to the denouement and on-going drama of the daytime serial from what should be a decidely different point of view. Bring on some wealthy good looking businessman/woman, ensconse said person in the daily drama and then bring on the poor ghetto loud mouth relatives, the hater friends, the jilted suitors and on and on. IT CAN BE DONE!!!

    The newer cast at Y&R are awful..
    GH had some very great acting past year..
    The ones left out;
    Jesse Hubbard )Darnell Williams
    Angie Hubbard ) Debbi Morgan
    who should get awards for best actor and actress..

    Y&R gets way too much credit for many thing, that it does not deserve..

    Who’s Tatiana Ali? Who does she play?

    Never mind…I Googled her.

    Pretty sorry state of affairs on the soaps (diversity-wise) if some of these nominees were the best they could come up with!

    Yes, what’s that about?!?!? I am proud to see actors be celebrated for their work and talents but it would be nice if more of the nominees played major roles or there were more candidates for these honors. I would have liked to see ALL MY CHILDREN represented with a nod for Sal Stowers. She rocked a very difficult sotryline. But maybe onlien shows were not considered by the NACCP? I am disappointed GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Marc Anthony Samuel did not get a nod as his character is all about positive images on many fronts.

    Surprised that Marc Anthony Samuel as Felix from GH didn’t get a nomination. I think he’s great.

    There a few from GH who gave excellent acting performances this past year..
    Why none were nominated is beyond wrong..

    Well, we all know that without a doubt Debbi Morgan should be nominated and would definitely win if she was. Too bad she’s not submitting any of her work for consideration….but I understand why she chose not to do that. Love you Debbi!! AMC forever!!!!
