TV Guide premiered exclusively today the first look at the brand new opening credits for ABC’s All My Children! The new opening sequence is set to debut next week on Wednesday, December 22nd just in time for the holidays.
AMC, EP, Julie Hanan Carruthers on the new opening stated, “The thought was to be more true to the characters and make their environments and lifestyles more specific in order to give the audience a window into Pine Valley.” So gone are the legendary trademark scrapbook images of the characters who inhabit the fictional town.
On first glance, we think this looks very similar to the old Guiding Light opening sequence. Perhaps, new head writers, David Kreizman and Donna Swajeski also had some influence in to the new credits?
