Ashley Jones, one of the busiest actresses in we know, is headed back to The Bold and the Beautiful to reprise the role of Bridget Forrester. When fans of the series last saw Bridget, she left town last year after giving birth to her father-in-law’s baby! Yup, the baby Bridget had with Owen (Brandon Beemer).
According to TV Guide, Jones begins shooting the week of September 12 and first hits the air October 18. The actress informed TVG, “It’s been so weird turning on the TV and seeing my B&B family and not being a part of it. “I’m really excited to go back because there’s so much history to play.”
And when you take into account Bridget’s one true love has been Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) and Wagner has had no ladies recently in his life, could the timing be right to reunite that pairing? Or, could Bridget finally becoming a family unit with Owen? Jones related, “I think the sky’s the limit as far as story potential with Bridget and those guys. The fans have been so fabulous about keeping the Nick and Bridget relationship alive by making YouTube movies with footage from the show They send me Twitter updates every day. It’s been really incredible.”
Meanwhile Jones states she is coming back to B&B in a non-contract capacity, so she can continue to do her primetime and film career, which of course includes : her role as Daphne on True Blood, a Lifetime movie debuting on September 25th, Secrets of her Past, and an upcoming movie with Y&R’s Christian LeBlanc, Grave Secrets: Deadtime Stories.
A busy gal just got busier, but it will be great to have Ashley stirring the pot on B&B very soon!
