What an extraordinary way of turning something sad…the end of ATWT and the death of Reid…into such a positive. I am certainly impressed with the fans who came together to make this happen.

Thanks Michael for posting this (and for every mention that you have given our fundraising). I was so excited when I saw it hit $15000 last night. There was no other day that would have be more perfect to have reached the goal then the day Reid took his last breath. The tears in my eyes were from pure joy in what we had done in such a short period of time.
As ESS has given us so much in his role of Reid, I am so proud that we are able to show our appreciation to him in a way that helps to many others.
    LuRe fans are fantastic.

Thank you so much for mentioning this on your site. For the fans of Dr. Reid Oliver and Eric Sheffer Stevens to come together in this way is amazing and to make goal on Tragic Tuesday was fitting. We found a way to channel our anger and grief in a positive way by helping others. The new goal is 20,000 and I know it will be reached before the end of the show on Sept. 17.
