ATWT’s departing Damian, Paolo Seganti’s new book, The Tin Funnel is out. The novel is a fairy tale about a child named Doccio who is reincarnated in a sense and travels through generations (in part to a small wooden instrument case) in time to learn about himself and his family’s history.
Seganti had this to say to Soap Opera Digest about the fairy tale: It’s (for) 14 and up, I would say. It’s a story that spans over 200 years and over two continents. It starts in Italy in the Tuscan hills and comes to the States after a100 years or more and then goes back. It’s a lovely story and they’ve already optioned it to make a movie in France and in Italy, so that’s something that I’m really proud of.”
“It’s doing pretty well, so hopefully it’s going to receive good comments here in the States as well. It’s actually already at the Rizzoli bookstore in New York [www.rizzoliusa.com] in Italian and it’s going to be in English there as well and, of course, it’s going to be on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble.”
