Over the weekend, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) was released from the hospital after two weeks following the incident where she was struck by a car on February 2nd.

Godfey took to Twitter on Friday and related:  “Thank you again everyone for your concern. After two longs week I finally got to go home tonight. Now I started my long journey to recovery.  This is definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but I can’t tell you how truly loved and supported I feel. I’m beyond lucky.”

In addition, and in very touching tweet last night on Valentine’s Day, Godfrey said:  “Happy Valentine’s Day loves! Hold your loved ones tight tonight life is so truly precious. I am so endlessly grateful to still be here.”

Please post your thoughts and well-wishes to Linsey in the comment section below, as she moves on to the next part of her recovery!

Two weeks in the hospital. So glad she’s home. Get well Linsey. We’re glad you’re still here too.

What’s going on with the police investigation on the crash?

  2. Wendy - Vancouver says:

Physical rehabilitation can be the hardest, and often loneliest, of journeys. I am certain she will have those closest to her and her fans giving her all the support possible. But the grit of fighting back from such a debilitating, sudden injury is within Linsey.
IF she can survive as an actor in Hollywood, truly she can (and will) survive this huge challenge ahead.
Don’t know if she’ll read this comment but one suggestion would be to go and find a good psychologist who could work with her to do regular visualization of when she is fully recovered. That can work wonders with the physical healing too.
I wish her the very best in a strong, steady recovery.
And yes, I agree, “…life is so truly precious.”

    Mo replied

She also survived cancer so we know she’s a fighter and survivor.

    Wendy - Vancouver replied

Yes, that is for sure. Some of her survival skills will be there for her with her rehabilitation time now. Hope she feels the support of her fans and it is helpful for her too.
