3 November 18th, 2011 Brynn Thayer cast as Susan Banks on Days of our Lives!

One of On-Air On-Soaps favorite all-time actresses, Brynn Thayer (Ex- Jenny Wolek, One Life to Live) has been cast in the role made famous by Eileen Davidson back in 1998 … that of Susan Banks, EJ Dimera’s (James Scott) birthmom!

The news today out from Days of our Lives via Soap Opera Digest is quite interesting! Apparently, Brynn will only be on for a day as part of the mystery and intrigued involving Alice Horton.

Look for Brynn to hit the airwaves on Wednesday, December 7th!

    This news is just mean, mean, mean!!!!!! The role of Susan Banks belongs to Eileen Davidson. In fact, I liked Susan way better than Kristen Blake. Ugh, this is just annoying that they’re recasting. I hope they at least portray her with the buck teeth, glasses, and Southern accent. Maybe Brynn Thayer is a dead ringer for Eileen’s Susan after the costumes, wigs and make-up.

    And since this is just for one episode, couldn’t they have gotten Eileen Davidson to make an appearance? Both Days and Y&R are owned by Sony. And the Bell family owes Days a cameo…remember in 2002, Days lent B&B Lauren Koslow, supposedly in exchange for Joe Mascolo (who was on B&B at the time), but B&B never reciprocated.
