17 May 12th, 2013 CBS Sunday Morning Remembers Y&R’s Jeanne Cooper With Touching Segment!

On CBS Sunday Morning, the weekend news program remembered Jeanne Cooper, known far and wide for her long-running role as Katherine Chancellor on the CBS soap opera, The Young and the Restless, who died this week at age 84.

In a touching tribute, complete with a narrative on her career, and classic clips, CBS Sunday Morning saluted Jeanne with her acting accolades for playing Katherine Chancellor for 40 years, how beloved she was to fans everywhere, and even showed the last moment from her final scene on Y&R.

    Classy Lady we will all miss forever. She touched all of our lives in one way or another. Very good actress and the last scene of her career will go down in Soap Opera History, she played it and ended it the way she wanted.
