Fantastic news and confirmed! Real life couple and fan favorites Alexa Havins (Arabella “Babe” Carey Chandler) and Justin Bruening (Jamie Martin) will make a return to ABC’s daytime drama All My Children this September! ABC Daytime made the official announcement this morning. Many soap fans have wanted to see Alexa and Justin return to the Pine Valley canvas before the show goes off the ABC Television Network on September 23rd, and it is now a reality.
Havins was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2005 for her role as Babe Chandler, whom she played from 2003 to 2007. She is now starring on the hit STARZ television series, Torchwood: Miracle Day. In 2008 the character of Babe suffered injuries after a series of tornadoes hit Pine Valley, which ended in her death.
Bruening took over the role of Jamie Martin, Tad and Brooke’s son on All My Children, in 2003. When he departed the show in 2007, his character left to work at an AIDS clinic in Africa.
Both actors will return in several episodes, scheduled to begin airing this September. When On- Air On-Soaps spoke with AMC’s Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) during the red carpet at the recent Daytime Emmys in Vegas, Eakes mentioned she would love to see Alexa return as her daughter, Babe before the series ends it run on television. And now she has gotten her wish!
