Well the number one soap just got even stronger with its super A-list of performers with the news that All My Children’s Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard) is 100% moving to The Young and the Restless and Genoa City at the end of AMC”s run!

The news was confirmed by TV Guide today that informed us that the deal with Morgan became a reality on Thursday!  And, there is no word from the power-that-be at Y&R what role Morgan will be playing, but that she will begin shooting after All My Children ends production. We hear that AMC will most likely end production toward the end of August.

So, who should Morgan be cast as on Y&R? Thoughts?

  1. YRviewer says:

I am thinking perhaps Devon’s mother — is her name Yolanda?

  2. Juliette says:

What about All My Children? If she decides to stay on the Young & The Restless what about Jesse? I surely will not appreciate someone replacing her. Look what happened when Sandra Q. tried to replace her in the 80′s or 90′s-she only last a year.

  3. Eva says:

I’m iffy about this soap-on-the-net thing and feel that most will move on, as they should. I think she should play Drucilla finally found alive.

  4. Y&R fan says:

Debbi Morgan and Victoria Rowell at Y&R would be an amazing duo! Y&R already has a wonderful cast and it s just gets better and better :)

  5. gweesha says:

Enough! I’d like to focus on the VETS and beloved characteres….I am sick of the other soap rejects inundating my soaps!

  6. Daniel Romallotti says:

    Drucilla Barbers Winters

  7. Howard says:

If Yand R keeps this up, they may as well rename the show All My Restless. And as for gweesha’s comments, your JACK ABBOTT was our CLIFF WARNER , Your CLOE was our MAGGIE, Your lawyer chick was our BIANCA, Your Cop was our JOHNATHON and thank God that only for a while, your DAVID CHO was our DAVID HAYWARD yet you still watch. Get over it!
