James Franco is surprising us yet again! The Golden Globe nominated star of 127 Hours and this years co-host for the Academy Awards in February, told The Hollywood Reporter during the Palm Springs Film Festival, that also on his list of things to do is to host the Daytime Emmy Awards, and that he would love an invite to have the duties!

Franco told THR, “Maybe next, I’ll get to host the Daytime Emmys.  Hey, if they ask me, I might do it.  I would love that.”  James is set to appear on General Hospital as serial killer, Franco, the day before and after the Oscar Telecast which is on February 27th, and as had been duly noted, we are of the notion that his return to GH for the two-episode stint is a set-up for another part of the story arc in Port Charles down the line when Franco makes another visit!

On-Air On-Soaps says, “Grab up Franco as host of the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards now.”  Hopefully that can help the visibility of the broadcast.

I think James Franco ahould see how his stint on the Oscars go before he tackles the Emmy awards. But, knowing him, he will be brilliant. I’m hoping for that. And, I want to see him back on GH to play out his story. So James, do you ever sleep?…..
