It’s been a busy month for Daytime Emmy winner Cynthia Watros thus far!  The former LOST and Guiding Light star first landed a guest stint on The Young and the Restless, which fans will begin to see air in November, and now comes word this morning via Deadline.com, that she has landed a primo role in a dramatic new series pilot from MTV!

The drama pilot entitled Finding Carter centers on teenage Carter, who has the perfect life with her fun-loving single mom Lori until a police bust reveals that Lori abducted her as a toddler.  Now Carter must return to the family who thought they had lost her, including her biological mother Elizabeth (Watros), a tough police detective who was devastated by the disappearance of her daughter and will stop at nothing to catch her kidnapper. As she navigates brand-new parents, a twin sister, high school and boys, Carter vows to find Lori before the police capture the only mom she’s ever known and put her behind bars.

Sounds like a very intriguing pilot!  Would you watch Cynthia in this series?  Excited about her upcoming appearance on Y&R?  Comment below!

    it does….

especially the true to life analogy….

kidnapped children… however, they find their way home…. have to start over… anew… wings to carry themselves

it would be so nice to genuinely see… along with drama… sincere parentage… in this day and age… engaging in dialogue to fly

finding that balance to co-exist and love

Yes but it’s on MTV, the network that gives us “The Hills,” “Jersey Shore” and “16 and Pregnant.”

It will probably be as deep and meaningful as the Honey Boo Boo Show.
