Is the soapy antics of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills about to get a dose of true soap opera? Looks like it according to a source through PEOPLE.com!

Daytime Emmy winner Eileen Davidson, who is returning on-screen next week as Kristen DiMera on Days of our Lives and then will soon be seen reprising her role of Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless looks to be headed to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

The Davidson speculation comes on the heels of last week’s news for the RHOBH franchise that former DAYS star Lisa Rinna (Ex-Billie) has joined the cast for the upcoming season!  If Davidson joins the series along with Rinna, they would be the new gals on the show replacing Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud.

So what do you think if this pans out to be true and Bravo confirms Davidson is part of the new season of RHOBH?  Will you be watching to see Eileen?   Let us know!

I can’t picture her joining RHOBH. She quit Days to spend more time with her family cuz the schedule was to hectic, but then gins a reality show? I know nothing about wjho she really is & want to keep it that way, hope this isn’t true. Im ok with Lisa Rinna on the show cause Ive seen her on all sorts of things over the years & she was always open about stuff.

I would love it! I love RHOBH and I love Eileen!!
I don’t remember Eileen ever saying that she was quitting Days to spend more time with family. That was Alison. Eileen took a role on Young and the Restless, so doesn’t seem as though she was trying to quit working as much.
I hope that this is true! I am glad they are replacing Carlton and Joyce. I didn’t get into either of them.

Last year when she left Days she did say she wanted to spend more time with her family as her reason for vacating the role— so Days staged that accident and had Kristen disappear—- then after a few months off, she returned to Days for a limited run and those shows will be airing soon and then she signed with Y&R.

Often the “I want to spend more time with my family” is the standard spin excuse they give to the press when the real reason could be a variety of behind the scenes disputes. But she did say it, not this year for her recent return to Days, but last year when she left in the first place.

I’m with you, won’t watch that crap.
The numbskulls over at abc-tv let excellent shows like One Life and All my Children go bye bye and yet we have inane trash on the airways including an over abundance of “reality shows” and competition shows.

She will probably back out. EVERYBODY on the net is upset she has chosen to belittle herself by doing this awful stuff.

I get Lisa Rinna doing it because she has been on a number of reality shows– but Eileen? Is she friends with Lisa? If so perhaps she is doing it to help her out, so Lisa would have a friend as a newbie on this show with her. I never watch that franchise and I doubt I would start because of ED, but perhaps her presence will bring in some new viewers—

It’s a shame at how quickly her “fans” above are turning on her.

She’s a smart actress and she’s made the decision for herself. Not to please anyone else.

I guess that means her Days appearances are numbered.

Hard to argue that DAYS to Y&R is a step down. Whatever you might think about the relative quality of the two shows (and however much I might want to agree with you), Y&R has much better ratings and is a better employment bet in the long run, assuming that’s what she wants. She has a big fan following on both shows, so she’s not taking a risk in that respect. I have had the sense in interviews through the years that she enjoys playing Kristen more than Ashley, but that Y&R feels like home. I’d say Y&R has the edge from her perspective as an actress, especially if they were willing to accommodate her desire to work a little less than she was doing on DAYS.

I think she’s fantastic on Days. But she’s also a big part of YR, whether she’s been properly used or not.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if THIS time under the much HATED JFP, that she sees a resurgence. I’m not holding my breath, but it’ll be nice to have her on three different shows.

I’m incredibly disappointed in Eileen. I thought she was a classier woman than this. The entire Real Housewives franchise is just trash, filled with women who have no real talent. Is she desperate for money? That’s the only way I can reasonably see her lowering herself to these “standards”. It’s sad.

    I agree. This is disappointing.

Sadly, having watched some of these “housewives” shows, I’m already wondering if her marriage to Vince Van Patten will survive through it. A good number of the married housewives become divorced during the show. I wonder what type of stress these things put on a relationship?

Since I have never watched any of the Real Housewives shows I can’t speak about them. But if they are as bad as what I am reading on this blog, I can see how Eileen would consider joining the show — she played Kristen — who raped a priest — and won an Emmy for it!

I know playing the rape story bothered Eileen because she stated so on Twitter. So aftrer playing Kristen the priest rapist, being on RHOBH may have looked like a high paying cake walk to Eileen. So I will not judge her harshly. Plus I don’t know what RHOBH is all about.

I don’t ever watch those sort of shows, but because they have “Housewives” in the title, I have to ask how in any stretch of the word’s meaning could entrepreneur-actress Lisa Rinna and actress-author Eileen Davidson be considered housewives?

LOL. If you watched any of them, you quickly would see that most of them are not houseWIVES —- the husband fled a long time ago or recently split. Many of them are single woman.

Eileen is a top rated actress… I too am shocked that she chose to do this ridiculous show…however with that being said… who knows what the future holds at Y&R…AND this show is paying her $750,000…. a little hard to say no to that…. crazy housewives or not…

Lisa Rinna is a terrible actress…she does any reality show as long as it gets her on tv… this show is nuts to have signed her…

PLEASE say it ain’t so!!!!! Are you kidding me????? Eileen is WAY TOO CLASSY AND WAY TOO TALENTED to get mixed up in that RHOBH CRAZINESS!!!!! Lisa Rinna (on the other hand)…I can see why. As far as I’m concerned, that Lisa chick will appear in just about anything. Bottom Line Here: Eileen…you are WAY BETTER than those RHOBH train-wrecks!!!!! Eileen…PLEASE…DON’T DO IT!!!!!

I’ve never watched RHOBH or any of the other Real Housewives shows. The addition of Rinna and Davidson is just cause today take a look to see what it is all about. Don’t know if I will stay, but will be fun to see what it is all about.

If Eileen has the stamina to do three shows more power to her. She has a son who will to to college in at a few short years. She will have to pay for his education. So strike while the iron is hot, Eileen!

I enjoyed Alison Sweeney’s TV show Hollywood Girls Night and wish that show would return. If RHOBH with Rinna and Davidson is like Sweeney’s show, it will be nice.
