Here is the list we have been waiting for!  What soap stars and performances made it out of the gate at their respective series for a chance at this year’s Daytime Emmy? We have the complete list just released and statement from NATAS below!

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards. A preliminary drama performer ballot containing each of the six performer categories was assigned to all registered, eligible peer voters from NATAS and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This ballot contained the full list of all entrants submitted from each show and each voter was entitled to select as many candidates as they believed worthy of Emmy® consideration. The candidates below who received the highest number of votes for each show in each category now advance to the final at-home screening round. This round, due to be conducted in March and April, 2010, will determine both nominees and winners. Who picked these actors, anyway? As much as I like Tony Geary’s work, I don’t see it here. For what? And it seems there are more veteran actors instead of the very able younger generation. I do agree on Drew Garret, though. There are just too many undeserving actors listed here. The most deserving one I agree with is Jonathan Jackson. He should definitely win that award. Oh well, I will have to wait just like all the other fans to see how it all plays out…….

There appear to be several listings missing for the Guiding Light Pre-Noms- there is only 1 actress listed for Lead Actress, there are no actors listed for Lead Actor, there is only 1 listing for Supporting Actor and Younger Actor, and there are no listings for Younger Actress. I checked NATAS site, and they are not listed so I believe there is some info missing from their list. I just wanted to point this out – I thought you might want to contact them as well, as I’m sure your inquiry will carry more weight. Thanks!

Those are the only actors who submitted themselves for Guiding Light. With the show off the air and production shut down the actors had to submit themselves directly.

Where is Van Hansis? One of the best soapactors, and he didn’t even get pre-nommed! I’m sorry, but I think that’s kind of ridiculous!

Where is Dominic Zamprogna’s name? He is the best new actor on daytime in the past year. Bad choice to leave him out GH.

Guiding Light gets the shaft again?!?!?

Grant Aleksander and Ron Raines were robbed!!!

As much as I love the Bold and the Beautiful, lets face it, acting ability isnt a priority over there…although I love Katherine Kelly Lang and she is due a nomination at the least.

My vote: Best actrss: Maura West
    Best Actor: Micheal Park
    Supporting Actor: Billy Miller
Supporting Actress: tied, Beth Chamberlin and Stacy Haiduk

Drew Garrett should definetly win an emmy for his portrayal of Michael Corinthos III. Who ever let this kid go in the first place should have there heads examined…wrong move…Bring back Drew Garrett
