One Life’s exited Brett Claywell, gives his first podcast interview since being dismissed as Kyle and one half of Kish on Daytime Confidential’s latest episode. With DC, he discusses all the backstage rumors and what went down, and his feelings on the opportunity to get to play such an important role on daytime television.
Then, former on-screen flame, Nicholas Rodriguez, (Nick, OLTL) speaks with DC on his thoughts on Evans and Claywell’s situation and the same-sex storyline that he was apart of: “I am so proud of them both for how they are handling this situation. I am truly proud of all our work together and the honesty and sincerity that came with these relationships. Not only was there an emphasis on professionalism and good acting, but there was always an obligation to present these gay men as honest, true, fully fleshed out human beings. I absolutely treasure my part in the creative process with Brett Claywell and Scott Evans. I have no doubt they will go on to do many more incredible things. I feel like the boys deserve all the positive support they can get, as well as Frank (Valentni) and Ron (Carlivati). I think the fact some people are overlooking is that these stories were told, boundaries were pushed. Truth was told.”
