    Congrats to all the nominees.

I watched the announcements on the news this morning and what struck me was the President of NATAS saying something about “the beginning of the Emmy season…” It irritates me to no end how dismissive the industry is about the Daytime Emmys. Geesh, when the President of NATAS doesn’t even acknowledge their importance that says a lot. I hope all the hardworking, talented folks in the entertainment industry who work in daytime know that at least their fans appreciate their work, if not their peers.

Downton deserves all the accolades they receive. Matt Bomer was fantastic in The Normal Heart, as were Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts and Jim Parsons.
