7 November 15th, 2011 DWTS Heats Up: Kardashian catapults! Martinez falls and is injured! Lake steady! Solo to go home?

It was a riveting night of Dancing with the Stars last night! The hit ABC ballroom competition had a heavy dose of drama as four couples vied for a spot in the finals next week!

All My Children star, J.R. Martinez (Brot Monroe) had a bad week.  First, he twisted his ankle badly in rehearsal and then twisted again during the live performance.  The injury seemed to hinder him and his performance and he and his partner Karina Smirnoff fell to third place after the night with a score of 56.

The big surprise and dark horse candidate who looks to be coming on strong is none other than, Rob Kardashian! Rob wowed the judges with his relay Cha-Cha and he and partner, Cheryl Burke ended up in second place with 65 points.

Ricki Lake danced a phenomenal night of precision ballroom dancing and along with partner, Derek Hough once again were at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 67.  But it was soccer star, Hope Solo who looked the most vulnerable and weakest of the four competitors along with her partner Maks.  Bets are that she will be kicked off the final ballroom field on tonight’s Result Show.

So who do you think should win Dancing with the Stars at this point? And who should be the next go home? Let us know!

I really want J.R. to win, it would be perfect just perfect if a soap actor won after our shows were cancelled.
Plus he is an amazing dancer <3

Been watching DWTS since it started, & I know a good dancer when I see it. Well, don’t understand all the cudos to Rob. He has improved since the start, but still mechanical, you can almost see him counting. Doesn’t flow or move with the music like other dancers.
Still wondering how he stayed, when much better dancers got voted off. Ex: Chyna left because of one bad dance, he had never had a good dance at that point. So, why the awesome scores & comments by judges influencing voting? Especially from Carrie Ann, think she has a Kardashian crush. And BTW, why is he even there?! It’s suppossed to be Stars, not wanna be stars, mediawhore’s little brothers.
The best dancer by far, even with injury, is JR! Ricki does well, but only because she has the advantage of her dancing partner, Derick. He’s so much better than any other dancer, & anyone lucky enough to be his partner will do well. He’s so good, that it’s not fair to the other dancers, not to have him as a partner.
Bottom line, the natural ease with which JR moves, his musicality, makes him tops, in my opinion.
Just a thought, but how awesome could JR be, if Derick could be his teacher?

JR gets my vote as the one contestant who did not have and dancing experience, yet at this point looks the most improved of all the four remaining. Rob is ok but is as wooden as a stick. He tries, but votes should go to the one who is constant in their performance and ability to work hard and have it show week after week that is J.R. and second is Ricki.

I love JR, and think he is great, and has been since week one, BUT DWTS is about the person who starts out slow and progressively improves each week, and that is Rob! Remember Kelly Monaco in Season One, she too, started out slow and won the Season, which she deserved! I wish all three contenders good luck, as they have all earned their shot at the Mirrorball Trophy, but I say Go Rob and Cheryl!!!!!
