169 February 8th, 2015 GENERAL HOSPITAL: Fluke Is … Luke Spencer?

Courtesy/ABC

After Friday’s cliffhanger on ABC‘s General Hospital, viewers were either left with clarify, confused more than ever, threw something at their TV or computer screens, or were loving the twists and turns of the ongoing saga of the mystery of “Who is Fluke?”

After Fluke (Tony Geary) and Helena (Constance Towers) are put behind bars (Fluke tried to kill Nikolas, and then there are those bombs), the evil Cassadine matriarch wants Agent Sloane (Grayson McCouch) to get them out of the slammer.

However, Sloane informs them that it will cast way too much suspicion to do so! Fluke agrees, and is ready to finally have his true identify come to light!  He says to Helena that he can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when it becomes common knowledge.  Meanwhile, Liesl (Kathleen Gati), who was running tests at General Hospital on the skeleton remains found in the basement of the Spencer’s old home, tells Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) that she has some preliminary results to share.  Obrecht says:  “These are indeed Luke Spencer’s remains, and he has been gone quite a long time.”  When Lulu inquires how long, Dr. O replies, “Decades.”  Liesl then goes on to say that,  “We estimate the subject has been dead at least twenty years,” and that at this point that is all she knows.

The scene cuts back to Fluke in jail who says:  “All these idiots have been chasing their tails for a year now thinking I’m Jerry Jacks, thinking I’m Larry Ashton, thinking I’m Cesar Faison, and now they have settled on another bogus theory – they think I’m Bill Eckert!  They should have let poor Bill Eckert rest in peace.  That son-of-a-bitch has been dead all along! The answer has been starring them in the face the whole time … and not one of them cares to see it.”

At the end of the episode, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) comes to the hospital, and tells Tracy and Lulu that he did run the fingerprints on the man that they have in custody. and they are a match for those of Luke Spencer!  Tracy and Lulu are dumbfounded and shocked as the episode concludes!

So, is the final answer?  Is Fluke the real Luke Spencer?  Fluke said Bill Eckert has been dead along! After reading between the lines of the dialog, do you believe we are watching the real Luke?  Share your theories and thoughts on this latest revelation.

Sue, I like literature and movies which are hard to understand. I don’t mind living in confusion as I negotiate through a series of steps the clues which lead up to solving that mystery.
But this Fluke is the Titanic of stories because of the false and inconsistent clues which can never be tied up into a neat box with a bow.
Moreover, this self indulgent story has Tony Geary’s hostility built into it. Time and time again Geary has given interviews in which he speaks of resenting the fans who adored Luke with Laura. Or how he resented Labine for trying to make Luke finally grow up and be domesticated. He said it was boring for him.
Oh, poor Tony suffering from such horrific conditions. Imagine only having to work six months a year and receiving a salary that even full time contracted actors do not come even close to earning. Finally, Geary has expressed resentment about how Bill Eckert was killed off. It seems this entire Fluke fiasco is predicated entirely on Geary’s bitterness and writing a story spurned by the need for personal vindication is never a good motive. Suffice to say, the need for revenge serves a lousy muse.
As someone who has idolized and respected Tony Geary since I was fifteen, I can say I feel very disappointed in him.
I know he will be leaving soon and he will not be leaving with us wanting more. At this point I want Tony Geary to do a like a sheep herder and get the Fluke out of here. I never thought I would write something like the aforementioned.

    Reply

    CeeCee replied

    Hi, Bridget.
I do not know the characters well, especially the Cassadines. But, from the little I saw of Stavros, he sounded very child-like…..recalcitrant, in a way. There was a scene between him and Victor, where in my mind’s eye, I see him stomping his foot because he was prevented, by Victor, from meting out a certain punishment upon Lulu and Dante as they were held prisoner at the clinic. If Fluke were Stavros, then he would still be trying to inseminate Lulu with his sperm, yes? Ewww!!!!
I don’t know if Stavros’s brain was only half thawed, but, I doubt he could have carried the diabolical schemes this far.
Yet, as I said, I do not know these characters enough for me to delve into their psyche….except that they all seem to be off-kilter. So, anything is possible.

What a complete and utter mess this story is. Carlivati is just spinning in it and he has the arrogance to mock the audience, calling us “idiots.” And he was talking about the audience because the characters were not suspecting that Luke was anyone else for a “year.”

But I’m not sure we’re the idiots Ron. The entire year has been nothing but an incoherent mess, filled with convoluted plot points and ridiculously bad dialogue that undermines things we’ve heard moments before.

I’m going to shocked not only if there are logical explanations for things we’ve seen, but if they even bother addressing most of them.

    su0000 replied

    hi AJQ
This story is not a mess, it is a ”mystery” where nothing is known until til the end- that is how great mysteries are written and are to be..
We read the whole book and wait for the last chapter to ”know”..
If someone tells us the ending no use to read on the mystery is ruined, so we close the book ..

I think Bill is just a puzzle piece of no great importance a ploy to throw everyone off, a good mystery will do that.. ..

I agree with you AJQ 100%…This story originated in RC’s mind and it’s his to twist and turn to the end. Since viewers have to go along for the ride…don’t expect us to try to figure out a cartoonish convoluted plot that you came up with. The whole ending will be a silly disappointment and that’s what he’s setting it up for. When you write such a huge arc on an outrageous scale..even the writer confuses himself and loses his way. Don’t try to say we should have known all along…BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T RC..and you wrote it!

I think Frank Valentini is an excellent, creative and innovative EP and the same goes for Ron Carlivati, as a writer. BUT, I am SO done with this storyline. Tony Geary should definitely be nominated and receive the Emmy for best actor and GH should win for best soap. I have to admit the story has been compelling and has kept us guessing for so long! Something is definitely wrong with Luke (the man was talking to himself as Luke and Fluke). Let’s get to the bottom of the story – PLEASE!

Not a surprise and not nearly as awesome as TPTB at GH had led us to believe. Now the burden is on them to explain this in a way that actually, you know, makes sense and doesn’t insult the viewers who’ve been watching Luke Spencer all along. And then, once they’ve explained it, can we please move on? I’ve read in numerous places that this would all be explained in early 2015 and it’s still dragging along with no end in sight. Let’s go already.

  8. Jimmy says:

I think this is finally the answer, that Luke is under mind control by Helena. But there are a few issues

First, how did Julian meet him in the Witness Protection Program all those years ago if Luke has been in Port Charles that whole time?

And if this is Luke, who did Heather lock up in Miscavige? Because if she had locked up the real Luke, does that mean Helena brainwashed him while he was in Miscavige, and when he was rescued he was already under mind control?

Also, if Helena truly had Luke under mind control (like she has Jason), wouldn’t she have been able to stop or prevent him from trying to kill Nikolas? She should have that ability if he was under her control.

Speaking of Nikolas, is he under mind control too? Or is he just pulling a fast one on Helena to make it seem as if he’s on her side when he’s really not?

My point is, there is still a lot of explaining that needs to be done here, the story is far from over.

But my biggest gripe with this whole thing is, where are Laura and Lucky through all of it? Why is Lulu dealing with this all on her own without her immediate family around to support her? I really think they should have brought them back for this story because they are Luke’s family and they should know what is going on, and if this mind control thing is real, Lucky went through it too, so he should know. Plus, it might help mend his and Luke’s relationship if Lucky helps bring Luke back the way Luke did with him.

thank you! my thoughts exactly – you can’t do a reveal like this with LUKE without LAURA – and we know Genie Francis is available. Otherwise it’s not really being true to the show’s history and the audience!

    Amen, babsy! Luke without Laura–impossible!
And I’m sure that Genie would come back for a storyline like this–and most especially to help usher out Luke Spencer–if this is indeed TG’s swan song.
Tony Geary has begged for an “adult” storyline for Luke and Laura–can’t think of anything more “adult” than this! Genie is the best! And TG and Genie together–unstoppable!

    CeeCee replied

I had briefly touched on this very subject a few weeks ago, and again, as recently as a couple of days, Jimmy. I had proposed that Nikolas and Sloane were working together to thwart the blood-thirsty Grim Reapers’s actions.
It is very possible that Helena is controlling Fluke…(boy, if I had such powers, there would be no war, no diseases, no hunger in this world….), however, I get the impression that Fluke is in charge, not the other way around. Also, has anyone else noticed that Helena kowtows to Fluke? She is almost in fear of him….so subservient. If he is the “baddest”of the bad, I’d give him a wide berth too.
I’m really beginning to agree with the poster who suggested that Fluke is really Nathan’s bio father.

I think Fluke himself has killed one guy- the gangster working for him who was a killer..
Fluke had others do his dirty work he never killed anyone he had others do the dirty deeds..

Luke would never be cozy with Helena, that is why I do not believe Fluke is Luke..
He being all cuddly with Helena, well- that is not right, nope..
Luke would die before he ever being cozy with Helena.

I still think Fuke/Luke is a Cassadine with plastic surgery..
The Cassadine clinic of horrors can create some weird stuff..
Whatever- Luke and Helena as cuddly buddies and Luke ordering Helena around and Helena ordering Luke around, well there is something very not right about that..

But in the end, to have Luke be himself would indeed be righteous..

  15. Lucy D. says:

Well, what CAN we believe? Do we trust the Commissioner that he didn’t switch prints? If Frisco is now head of WSB, is he corrupt too?

It’s obviously some version of the real Luke–but questions remain. It can’t be Helena mind control–he was going to shoot Nikolas against her wishes. I don’t think it’s DID–but…who did the “real” Luke think he was talking to in the basement? Why would Bill Ekart’s bones be in the Spencer basement? Who dug them up & why?

Why did Nik help rig the election? Is he going to tell Scotty the truth now?

I know I’ve been waiting for this storyline to end, but I’m intrigued by the questions–I want answers. And now that they’re looking for answers maybe there will be a little less of threatening, screaming OTT Fluke on my screen, which will help enormously.

That is also very confusing to me……how well Tony is managing after his travail. He should consider himself a very lucky man. Two back surgeries? I was always under the impression that the older we are, the more risky back surgery is because our bones become too brittle. Normally, back surgery would not be recommended. I am sure he was made aware of the risks….he probably felt those risks were a better choice than living with excruciating pain. That takes courage…kudos, Tony.
So, not only should AG count his lucky stars, but also the orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery. He must be an ‘artist’. Very delicate surgery, indeed.

If this is the answer then the last year has been pointless. Maybe whoever this is effectively erased Luke from the system and planted his own info. We saw Helena remove Jason’s prints from the system. Luke being brainwashed or under Helenas control doesn’t seem to jive with him threatening her so often in the past two weeks and the fact that the underlying storyline has been going on for over a decade considering Julian’s involvement and the use of Barrett Enterprises. DID would be lazy, and still wouldn’t explain Flukes ability to run a company and fund Julian. Julian told Alexis that Fluke approached him after 10 years in witness protection. Julian presumably went into WP after his death in 1990. So after 2000 he was approached by Fluke, fifteen usage ago. This is the same time period when Faison was brainwashing lucky for Helena. Faison and Fluke seemed like equal partners. Also Luke was not on during the cartel days, so what was the purpose of their involvement? On May 29, 2014 Fluke asked an orderly about the “person” in the padded cell and proceeded to enter. Why would an orderly be guarding an empty room? The next day Fluke tells Luke he is not Luke Spencer. Fast forward to Luke being fed pills by an orderly and then crushing them up. We saw characters on screen interacting with two different people. Even with the corpse at the house, Helena asks where did he even get the body. The man we knew as Bill Eckert “died” in 1993 but someone else emerged. And why would Fluke get so upset with Bobby badmouthing Bill? Luke hardly knew Eckert. The real Luke is out there stashed somewhere.

Well…the only major character that was effectively in witness protection ten years ago was….Laura (as Genie Francis was effectively banned by the Guza regime). So…Laura is Fluke with a Luke mask. And as for Tracie not getting it. Well, except for Joe Scully it does not seem that she was every all that enamored of any of her husbands so maybe spanky buns wouldn’t have noticed. Certainly Laura has the right to hate Luke. Having her kill Lulu would have been a bit over the top (but maybe having all those people mistake a mop for their mother made her snap).

This is at least as plausibe as the transgendered serial killer elder sister Pat, or the mind controlled Luke from Helena (come to think of it, Laura fell in love with one Cassidine through the stockholm syndrome–why not Helena as well?)

Guess I’m in the minority on this page, with all the negativity I’m reading, but I’ve enjoyed this storyline. This is just the latest twist on this roller coaster ride of a story. And I actually think it’s a pretty brilliant twist.

We’ve all been here speculating on who Fluke really is, and they gave us all the red herrings, Jerry Jacks, Faison, Larry Ashton, Bill Eckert, even Luke and Bobbie’s long lost sister Patricia, and it’s possible he’s been the real Luke the entire time, whether a Luke that is either being controlled by Helena, or a Luke that totally snapped from reality, and went off the deep end.

Has Fluke really been Luke the whole time? Yes, no, maybe? I don’t know, and that’s why I watch, and will continue watching, and continue supporting a show that provides me 5 hours of entertainment each week.

I thought this past week was fantastic from start to finish. I usually watch a week’s worth of shows and get caught up every weekend, and I generally watch one or two episodes, then go do something, and come back later or the next day and finish. This weekend, I started with Monday and I was so engrossed and on the edge of my seat with everything that was going on, I just flew right through the entire week in one sitting.

There is no way the writers can make me believe Luke could be brainwashed enough to want to kill LuLu because he has always loved his daughter & was the one who raised her because Laura was sent to the loony bin when she was a very small child. Luke can’t be that crazy that he no longer loves his daughter who has always loved him & there is no way Luke could be brainwashed into being so cozy with Helena. So if the writers are trying to tell me the last twenty something years of Luke raising his daughter never happened they can’t make me believe it. Yes soaps are fantasy but they don’t work whenever they get this far from reality they just turn the fans off from watching. At first this story was interesting but I just lost interest when they try to tell me Luke has turned into a complete monster with no human qualities, he was never a saint but wasn’t a monster & besides he has never has any money & it has taken a lot of money to get all these bad guys working against Sunny & everyone else in Post Charles they seem to be trying to turn Port Charles into Hell that is home to only the baldest of people. So GH straighten this up if you can because if you can’t I can’t watch this kind of history rewrite any longer!!!!!! Unfortunately—and I say this as someone who generally does have admiration for Carlivati and his writing/storytelling abilities—addressing details carefully, tying up loose ends, and making everything make sense is not his strong point. I think we’ve seen evidence that he doesn’t think it’s all that important if the story is a good one (and that goes back at least as far as “Tale of Two Todds” on One Life to Live—which worked, in my opinion, because of Trevor St. John and Roger Howarth, but really didn’t make a whole lot of sense if you thought about it). I’m not so sure that it’s the case, however, that viewers don’t mind if some of the details don’t add up. I think they do. If they’re going in the direction they seem to be, and the Luke we’ve been seeing on screen isn’t the “real” Luke, the writers have a tall order on their hands to try to make everything we’ve seen for two decades make sense; that would go pretty much all the way back to Luke and Laura’s return from being on the run, when Wendy Riche was EP and Claire Labine was the headwriter. I’ll wait and see . . . but I’m suspecting there are going to be gigantic plot-holes that won’t get filled, and ultimately that’s going to make this a pretty unsatisfying story, at least for me. Because ANYBODY can throw together a bunch of “surprising” elements and “amazing” twists and turns if it all doesn’t have to make sense in the end anyway; where’s the skill in that (and why should I care about it or invest in it, when actually all you’re doing is basically jerking me around)? True genius is in surprising viewers and having it all hang together neatly in the end—not “WTF?” but “Oh, of course! Wow!” should be what viewers think when it’s all over. I’d be surprised if we get that with this story (and I’m willing to be surprised that way, but I don’t think it’s the more likely outcome).

I don’t know about the rest of the posters here, but I do like Kathleen Gati’s portrayal of Liesl…she adds a bit of comedy to an otherwise dark & twisted character. When Nathan finds out his paternal parentage, it will be interesting to see WHO & how bad his real father is. Wondering when Jake/Jason will have his memory fully return… Anyway, here’s to hoping Fluke’s ending has a huge payout!

Tony gets to take a vacation and fully recover from his surgeries, Tristan Roger’s contract expires over at Y&R and Jonathan and Genie cut a deal to appear on GH to wrap up the Luke saga in 2016?

    JP replied

Could it just be that the actors don’t want to be on the show? The audience complains when characters aren’t around when they should be, but yet they don’t want recasts either. They seem to think the shows have unending budgets that can lure any actor back if they really want to, and that’s just not the case.

Laura and Luke are divorced with grown children, so his life is none of her business anyway (how often do divorced couples with grown children get directly involved in real-life? They don’t). In her case, no explanation should be necessary. As for Lucky, it’s reasonable to assume he isn’t in the loop, especially considering that no one in Luke’s immediate vicinity seems to be much in the loop at this point either.

That said, I agree and I do appreciate when characters are at least mentioned and their absence explained away in dialogue, even if the explanation is lame. It’s better than treating the audience like the characters only exist when they are on-screen forgotten. Lucky and Laura do get mentioned, which helps.

Not going to well filling Billy Miller’s shoes but Burgess can act and he looks and sounds like Jack Wagner. Lastly, speaking about acting, I would recast Nathan immediately! BTW, I like Kristen better as a brunette.

Governers always release known mobsters and cold blooded murderers……but ONLY if they stage a violent bloody prison break first and brutally assault police officers and prison guards as they break out. Thats the key!

they always change their hair color with seasons. It funny to see blonde highlights go deep dark colors and then reddish tones… only the soaps do that. I don’t know any gal willing to give up blond highlights for every change of season.

I actually put lowlights in my hair. The summer sun bleaches my hair to the extreme….gets really light, not to my liking.
Now that you mention it, you’re right, Christy. I don’t think Kiki suits red hair, though.
My mind always goes back to Nina and Kiki being mother and daughter. So, I thought perhaps TPTB are subtly easing and installing the idea in our heads….just a wishful thought, I guess….LOL.

    CeeCee replied

    Correction…instilling, not installing…LOL.
Hayley’s disposition, as Nina’s daughter, will fit the bill very nicely. This may all be in my head, but many of our soap fans thought/think the same thing.
If this premise never crossed TPTB’s mind, then it is a compelling concept to entertain. I think it would steer away from the Fluke travesty.
I suppose, this idiocy needs to come to an end first….hurry it up, please!

The fact that everyone is frustrated indicates that TPTB are doing their job correctly. Once upon a time, the soaps all dragged out stories for months with much bigger payoff in the end. Now, everyone is impatient and demands 2 things which are essentially contradictory: 1) They want couples together and happy, and 2) they want their favorite performers front and center everyday with interesting stories and dramatic performances. The two don’t work together! Happiness on soaps = boredom, predictability and loss of viewers. Conflict drives story, and character conflict is way better than cops and mobster conflict. Tony Geary is giving up some incredible performances, and that’s what makes his job interesting to both himself and his fans. Let’s just enjoy the ride, because getting the audience worked up and giving the actors meaty stuff is the goal here. And it’s working on both counts.

I am so mad at this turn of the storyline. How are they going to explain the Luke we saw held at Miscavige? We deserve MUCH better from GH! This is the kind of thing that makes me think of not watching anymore.

I’ve watched this show since I was 4 years old — 31 years now. And my mom, who is 62, has watched it since she was a kid. This is the worst storyline I can remember since that time in (I think) the mid-1980s when there was a serial killer leaving creepy dolls with victims before they were killed. This was back when The Brownstone was a major part of the set, and Bobbie lived there — she kept blacking out, and everyone (including her) began to think she was the killer. Well, that’s the memory of a 4- or 5-.year-old, but I hated that story back then just as much as I hate this one now.

I’ve mainly continued to watch over the years (1) to bond with my family and (2) to get a good laugh. This Fluke thing is just getting on my nerves. And we’re clearly not supposed to remember anything about Bill Eckert, who was not a maniacal gangster back in the day. This was never a convincing red herring. He was just a boring businessman who lived in a lighthouse and got romantically entangled with Brenda’s boring older sister. He was reserved and unfunny — these were the main factors distinguishing him from Luke, and apparently no one ever thought, “But nature doesn’t actually MAKE identical cousins…”

Also, I do not remember the mention of any Patricia until very recently, at the same moment that Bill Eckert’s name came back after nary a mention for two decades. Nor do my mother or grandmother. It’s possible that they forgot, and I didn’t watch whenever a Patricia was mentioned, but this is certainly the first I’ve ever heard of her. Am I right that this is a rewriting of history?

I’m also thinking this house of horrors where Luke and Bobbie grew up is a major rewrite of the past. The brothel they grew up in was located in Florida. Luke went back to that Florida brothel to confront his demons after baby Jake was killed. This was not that long ago, as Dante was involved in bringing him back home. Again, I’ve only heard about this Port Charles house since it showed up in this particular story. One thing they got right though — Ruby did indeed teach Bobbie how to turn tricks when she was 15. But that happened in Florida, not in that Port Charles house.

Patricia is not a rewrite of history. She was mentioned early on when Bobbie and Luke first appeared, but rarely after that. She’s never appeared on the show.

I will accept nothing less than a “BRILLIANT ” out come to this Fluke story line.
This guessing game is not fun anymore. February sweeps will be over and we still wont know who Fluke is. Maybe they are trying to drag this out until May sweeps. (God help us).

After 36 years of watching GH, I ‘m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

    Hi, Linda.

OLTL was my baby also, among Y&R, and AMC. I really did not watch so much as I do now because of school and then, life happens. Now, I generally watch at night. I turned to GH for the same reasons as yours. I actually like GH. I am enjoying it, albeit Luke’s s/l has reached its stop sign for me. I also get annoyed by the glorification of some actors/actresses who have swelled heads because fans praise their acting without cause. I think my fellow ‘site-friends’ know to whom I am referring.
Needless to say, the great actors override the mediocre; compelling me to tune-in.

I am so glad you are a fellow-New Yorker. We are special, aren’t we? LOL. I am proud of our socially and ethnically, artistically and intellectually diverse state.
No, Linda; Governor Cuomo would have never pardoned Sonny. He would have been stoned to death …..kidding people….LOL.
Of course every government houses corrupt officials with agendas. However, Andrew Cuomo swept the state clean of as many ‘Sonnys’ as he could. He absolutely does not tolerate corruption , which includes organized crime, hence the formation of the MORELAND ACT.
There would have been no way on God’s green earth, for Cuomo to have pardoned a mobster. So, GH writers need to take reality into consideration at some point, regardless of the fact that soaps are fiction. Too many liberties have been taken as it is. Sonny should get re -arrested for some other crime…I’m sure there are many….later.

I know who Fluke is!!! He is Justine from Another World, being secretly played by Victoria Wyndham wearing a Tony Geary mask! That is my only explanation for why two daytime legends would deliver such atrocious, hammy, over-the-top, high school play level acting. Victoria Wndham when she played Justine 20 years ago, and Geary now playing Fluke. It was/is painful and almost embarrassing to,watch. But, I cant completelt fault the actors…when writing is that bad, it is hard for even the best actors to rise above the material.

is it the ole M. Night Shyamalanading dong switch? How could Helena actually get his brainwashing so tightly done when she couldn’t get people who hadn’t hated her as long as Luke? (Lucky & Jason)

    something is amiss… still

remains DNA test says it’s Luke (DNA on file), fingerprint of prisoner also say he’s Luke… can’t be in two places unless he’s twins!

Remember the tale of two Todds on OLTL? Todd wasn’t Todd but really Todd’s twin Victor who was brainwashed by Todd & Victor’s crazy mother on OLTL? Victor was Todd for 8 years until the original one escaped and came back to town… and guess what – DNA tests proved that both Todds had the same DNA.

but identical twins do not have matching fingerprints.

they didn’t do a DNA test on the bones–they never said the bones were Luke’s. I agree there’s more to this story–and I’m eager to find out what it is. I think this should wind down–but I have to congratulate them for still having everyone talking about it.

It is obvious that Geary wanted nothing more to do with Genie Francis. He wants no part of a Luke & Laura story, so there’s no use begging for it. Jonathan Jackson & Tristan Rogers are otherwise employed–they’re not coming back either.

Instead of judging the story –who is Luke–before it ends, why not wait until the reveal and then we can clap or bitch.

they did a dna test … dr obrecht told lulu and tracy it was luke, matched his dna on file, and that he had been dead for 20 years…
and then nathan said it was definitely luke they had in prison

don’t know what the rest of the answer is about luke & laura… but I never was in love with that union, so it’s fine with me.

It is very obvious that it was originally supposed to have been Bill Eckert. Very early on in the story, Fluke commented about what that bitch Tracy did to his sister. That obviously meant Jenny Eckert. But fans figures out Ron’s predictable writing style early on, he got pouty, and then Tony’s illness gave Ron the time to prolong the story to absurdity, and scramble to try and figure out who else Fluke could be. There will be no nicely wrapped bow on this story that will make sense. It is just not possible.
