This past week on General Hospital finally everyone learned that baby Ben is actually Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son, not Dante and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud)!
After the cover-up is revealed of Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Britt and Brad’s (Parry Shen) conspiracy to steal Dante and Lulu’s embryos so Britt could get pregnant and then pass off her baby as Patrick’s (Jason Thompson), lives are torn apart. And now, Dr. O has kidnapped baby Ben, and has Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Ben held hostage!
But on Friday’s episode, the time finally came for Lulu to go off the rails and let Britt have it for her entire plot, and the pain and suffering she caused her and Dante. While in the interrogation room at the PCPD after Lulu interrupts Dante trying to get Britt to talk to her mother so he can trace where Obrecht is with their son, Lulu has these choice words to say to Britt!
Lulu begins telling off Britt: “You hurt me, and you hurt Dante, and you hurt our son. You stole him from us. How you could do that? You’re a doctor. You’re an OB/GYN. You are supposed to help people have babies, not take them. You promised, no, you took an oath as a doctor to help me. You violated me, and you violated my husband. Those two embryos were our last hope of ever having a child.”
Next when Britt tries to say that when she got pregnant, there was no way of her knowing that Lulu couldn’t produce more eggs, Lulu continued: “And when you knew, you sat there in your office and you told me that there was no hope. That Dante and I would never have a child. But you knew that Ben was sitting in a crib at Wyndemere… OUR SON! And you did nothing! You did not care who you hurt as long as you got exactly what you wanted. What kind of person are you? Just don’t pretend that you are sorry. You planned this. You covered it up, and you had no intention of returning our son to us. In fact, if Elizabeth had not found that letter, you would be snuggled up with Ben right now.
I read your letter, and I know the reasons you did what you did, and I don’t care. They were selfish. They were delusional. They were evil. And yet you’re not sick, you’re not a sociopath, and you get it, Britt. I get why you did it. And that makes what you have done so much more terrifying, and I promise you, I am going to make sure you pay for what you have done to me. I dare you to say again that you didn’t mean for any of this to happen like that is an excuse … like that makes a damn bit of difference!”
So, what did you think of Lulu’s speech to Britt? Do you think everything that should have been said has been said to Britt? Will Britt and Dr. O ultimately not pay for their crimes? Weigh-in below!
