220 December 2nd, 2017 GENERAL HOSPITAL: The Real Jason Is Revealed … Let The Fallout Begin!

On Friday’s pivotal episode of General Hospital, viewers learned the identify of who is the real Jason Morgan, and who is his twin, Andrew.  Now that Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) has been caught and brought into the PCPD, everyone involved, their loved ones, and friends have gathered at the station to get the 411 on just what the doctor did, and to whom!

Leave it to legal eagle, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to keep the proceedings moving along for all of us to get to the truth.  Andre says it was all about his research and discovering a breakthrough in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Diane questions the doctor.  He admits he was financed in his research by a mysterious backer.  Andre reveals several years ago both twins were brought in together and they were already unconscious for his test.  However, Andre was told to map memories for both men and place Jason’s into Drew’s brain.  He then says that Andrew believed he has lived Jason’s life, and he knew which one of the men was Jason.  Andre says he lost track of the men, until he was summoned in 2015 to monitor the situation in Port Charles. Sam (Kelly Monaco) has had enough of explanations, and wants Andre to tell everyone who’s who!

Andre looks at Jason and says, he was sent to monitor to Andrew Cain (Billy Miller), which is him, and then turns to Six and tells him he is the real Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Diane asks for proof of this revelation as Andrew is shocked and devastated.  Andre says he does not have proof, but Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) pipes up that he does.

He goes on to say that Sam’s husband is Navy Seal Andrew Cain!  We next see a photo of Andrew with his old face as a decorated officer. Spinelli reveals that Andrew went AWOL three months prior to Jason being “killed” and thrown in the waters of Port Charles. Curtis (Donnell Turner) tries to get his good friend, Andrew, to believe in these facts.

There is also more proof available.  Spinelli requests Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) look into fingerprints from the Navy records. She pulls them up, and they are a match. Meanwhile, Jason thanks Diane, Spinelli and Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) for believing in him. In an emotional moment, he says he knew if he could get home to Carly and Sonny everything would be OK.  In the interrogation room, Sam tells Andrew he is a hero, but he says he has no connection to Andrew Kane.  Next, Andrew becomes unglued as he is desperate to hold on to the life and the family he has built, as he feels it’s all now slipping away from him.  He storms out and confronts Jason saying, that no matter what the DNA tests say they are not brothers. Andrew feels betrayed by everybody.

We have got to give major props to Billy Miller for this episode for his work upon learning he is Andrew, as well as the whole GH ensemble, who made this an emotional and riveting reveal with very human elements to it.

What will happen next?  Is Andrew’s true family with Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and her son, Oscar (Garren Stitt)? Will Sam stand by Andrew? Will Jason just let Sam go forever? Watch the moment where Andre reveals the news about the twins below!

    Hey Joni, I don’t necessarily see you disagreeing with Carrie. I think it’s best that Burton turned out to be the real Jason Morgan, a role he made his own.
    This gives Miller a chance to step out and be his own man as Andrew and yes, he will be the victor in that he will manage to forge ahead without Sonny and Carly.

    it’s been an amazing ride… in the context that… Sonny and Carly have been marginalized

    1. Sonny has been – HE MAN’ing – it… i’ll go their… back in the drivers seat? you’d think this mob has gone soprano back in the saddle again.. me thinks – sharing the spotlight.. will get you their… longevity and mantra. OK? GH –

Carly is trotted out for her altruistic emotive SPEECHES. if Carly doesn’t agree .. then whats the point ? her little speech at Josslyn .. for going over to BM Jason and Sam place w/ Oscar…. caused – our – Carly to go off the rails and tracks … SCREECH… oh well.. what’s the point ? TPTB and Frank and SHelley are so enamored by THEIR star… that all we see is lackluster

    every part of this storyline is generating enough

    Dragon-roasted crow is now available in Hell’s cafeteria to all of the folks who were pushing the ridiculous fan fiction stories about Frodd being a triplet, the twins being switched at the point of the accident (despite Jason having dashboard fragments from AJ’s car in his head in 2012) etcetera etcetera……

    Despite the retcon of a twin being a bit ridiculous to begin with, I would say the reveal itself was well done. And a nice touch with Curtis being the one who finally got Andrew to face reality. After all, he’s the only friend that Andrew really has in Port Charles, since all of his other relationships were based on the falsehood of him being “Jason”.

    That’s not to say that all those other folks won’t be able to relate to Drew as himself (provided he stops pushing them away) but Curtis arrived in Port Charles after 2012, so he never had the real Jason as a reference point.

    Anyway…. time to move on with the stories of the abductions and who bankrolled the whole thing. Or in other words…… do we see Faison before February sweeps?? Because you can bet your soul he’s behind it all.

    I don’t care if I discover the person that I thought was my long lost friend turns out to be someone else, I wouldn’t stop being that person’s friend . As for me, when these so called friends decide to rekindle the relationship with me , it’s over . The closeness will never be the same.

    I don’t do well with betrayal myself, Boop. I know we should be more forgiving….kind of hard when the knife coming straight for our back blindsides us.
    Some actions are just too unforgivable. I would never trust such a person again.

    What could they have done? They expressed how much they cared about him.. Admitted he was a great friend.. But they couldn’t LIEand say he was Jason when they knew he wasn’t.. They didn’t turn their backs on HIM as a person and friend. But he thought they did because they wouldn’t feed the falsehood that he was Jason Morgan. Drew just didn’t want to hear it and took it as betrayal when they were just being honest.
    What else could they have done?

    LOL, Satan….sorry to dispel your euphoria….I was the one to suggest the triplet theory in jest……beside the fact that it was in question mode. I am very selective as to whose post I read. You are one of them….enjoy your writing.
    These sites are in place to elicit speculation….and, let’s keep in mind it is a soap.
    As I said, the entire “scenery ” went too smoothly.
    I will not eat crow because, at the risk of repeating myself, any ‘triplet’ theory was suggestive.
    Alas, I grant you the theory is debunked—I never believed it myself….it started as a joke….hahaha???? Su and I engaged in the Franco Q tentative theory….jokingly.
    However, do not count your chickadees before they hatch…….Steve as Jason is still presumptive .
    I shall throw in the towel, lay down my sword and shield if Steve is the true Jason, and bow to you and all others.
    Never uttered with certainty that Billy was The Jason . Gof forbid Steve, the Lord, God is not. This story is looking very fraudulent. Brought us up just to let some of us down. Obviously not you, LOL. You are Satan; already down there.
    And, although Steve will be Jason, I still need more facts and explanations that make sense.
    Billy Miller has been thrown under the bus. He deserves better…..thus, the navy seal theory looks very attractive to me.
    That is not to say that IT is the big twist. If Steve is Jason, then the story will fall flat. But, I will accept it…I really like Steve; now.
    No suspense, no satisfaction in my mouth to be tasted…..in the words of the mighty Timmm, ” don’t fluke it up”. Yet, it seems to be going in that direction.
    If this is another Fluke/Luke story…..what can I say?!?! Shame on the PTB.

    If you wanted to see Steve be Drew, you might still get your wish….

    I don’t see Drew’s story developing without some fake “flashbacks” of his back story being seen. And Billy Miller can’t play those flashbacks, because this would have been when Drew looked like Jason…..

    So there you go…. Steve Burton will play Drew…. just not the Drew of the present day.

    What I’d really like to see is Drew put aside his misplaced anger at his brother (who has done nothing to him) and work with him to bring down Faison and/or whomever else is involved in this whole series of crimes committed against both brothers.

    Celia, I agree with your assessment of Billy/Drew being thrown under the bus, at least by the “friends” like Sonny, Carly, Spinelli, etc. I was relieved when Billy was Drew until the AWOL business. Can’t we have some relief from the anxiety even for a short while? I want to see the Oscar story develop as well as Aurora, not military prison nightmares.

    Hey there, CeeCeeGirl! Not only do I harbor serious doubts that Franco shall ever be proved a “Q.,” but I am wondering if he is even a real Baldwin??? You see, I’m firmly convinced he is actually the love child of the just departed Johnny Hallyday! All one needs to do is take a gander at a recent photograph of this French musical icon and it’s like fast-forwarding to the future Franco! His resemblance to RoHo is absolutely uncanny!

    Not too many feel as we do, Soaphound. I think it depends on one’s perspective….or, our personal feeling for an actor/character.
    As I gleefully ( LOL) announce, ad nauseam, Sonny and Carly have no right to pass judgment on ANYONE!!
    Nevertheless, did you notice, by yesterdays episode, how the language between this “can-do-no-wrong” couple, has changed? I think the writers must be reading our comments/complaints over “Drew’s” lack of commiseration from the Incredible Duo.
    Suddenly, Carly has developed regrets over the fact that poor, poor “Drew” is still loved and appreciated, as a true friend, by them!
    Sonny “ain’t notin’ but a hound dog”, and Carly a “stampeder”. Ha!!

    I loved how this all played out in the police station. But you know who or what I loved the most? Diane. Jordan continues to look inept as a police commissioner, so much so, that the brilliantly sharp Diane takes over with the questioning. As Diane pieces it all together with her expert questioning of Andre, Jordan sighs and mumbled,”Oh Andre.” Really? Then Diane and Spinelli instruct Jordan to go over to the police computer to compare Andrew’s finger prints and she’s kind of like,”Right here? Like this?” She comes off as a confused office temp, not a competent, self assured police commissioner.
    I really enjoyed how Curtis got his friend Jason (Andrew) to face the truth and to stop blaming Jason by saying,”You both got screwed.”
    I completely understand Andrew’s anger but it is somewhat misguided. Being mad at Jason, who has also suffered and lost so much, is irrational. However, it makes sense psychologically speaking.
    I could have done without Carly’s self -righteous and gleeful smirk. This was not the time to feel triumphant.

    Well said Harry. Diane kicks ass and Jordan is ridiculous as commissioner. Why is she still there? I guess the same reason Nelle, Nina and Amy are. Anna or Mac or even our beloved Bo Buchanan are appropriate commissioners. Curtis was also great in this scene.

    I think Diane has been a biatch through this entire thing. She was friendly with “Drew” when she thought he was Jason, she knows how he risked his life for Sonny and Carly…and yet she gave him the complete cold shoulder when Steve Burton’s Jason came back. She didn’t even give him the courtesy of telling him gently and warmly that she felt a need to represent his brother due to personal reasons…no…she dismissed him like one would swat a fly.

    So, no, I wasn’t impressed with her smug, know-it-all attitude in the police station. I WAS impressed by Spinelli’s sleuthing skills which he managed to deliver with accuracy and yet compassion at the same time. Big difference.

    I think we have our wires crossed, Satan, LOL. I did not say I want Steve to be Drew. ….what I said was that we could not be sure the true Jason is Steve, in answer to your emphatic assumption thst he was. Am I making sense? And, it serms that we still do not know, regardless what the facts or Spinelli ( ugh) say.
    You said ( correct me if I misread) that it was, indeed, Steve, otherwise his return to GH would have been for naught.
    I said that the great twist would be; we were led to believe that Steve WAS Jason; but, ultimately he turned out to be Drew ( speaking in the conditional sense, here)…….especially if Steve’s tenure is a short one. Hard to keep tenses in order , LOL….
    Perhaps he, Kim and Oscar will get on the yellow brick road and leave PC?
    As far as the misplaced anger? You are absolutely right—-but, it’s both of them. Easily fly off the handle…..men with such insecurities, as to not tamp their anger, turn me off. I find a ‘controlled’ man soooo sexy!!
    My wish?! I could care less who is who….whomever it is, I do not want BM to be short-changed.

    Ohhh, Shay…as much as I like Diane; she, too, is a hypocryte. I, truly, do not get these writers….they cannot seem to discern between what’s fair and what’s distorted.
    So far, the only good advice, she seems to have given, was to Alexis—that is, stay away from Julian.
    Spinelli? Why does everyone trip over himself/herself whenever he speaks? Is he some kind of “magus”??
    I cannot tell you how much he gets on my nerves.LOL. I know, I know…..EEEEverybody loves The Thorn!!

    Well. Satan. I, too, thought (at the beginning of this tale), that Franco might be either one of three or one of the Q twins. I then pushed the possibility that Billy was the original Jason Q…kidnapped during the AJ car accident…woke up with no memory and thus Jason Morgan was born. Though originally Drew. It would have made perfect sense. As for head fragments, hahahaha..I must admit I have no recollection of that but ya know…during one of the thousand brain surgeries they were subjected to they could’ve stuck a few pieces in the other twins’ head to cover their bases!

    Though it’s easy to go with history and just assume everything will fall into place (as it has), with Steve Burton returning to the role he held for so many years, the fact that it’s a soap and not always a very-true-to-life “drama” made speculation fun and the story intriguing. Because, truly, all possibilities are on the table with soaps. So I don’t think anyone is “eating crow”…Personally, I’m not disappointed. Said all along I was/am enjoying the story and would be fine with how ever it played out. I wasn’t sure which way it would go..but it seems they went the safe route. Too many fans would start crying “history!!!!”

    It’s all good. I think everyone involved has brought their A game and there’s more to come. Too many lives involved…

    What I’m not looking forward to is Steve Burton/Jason kissing Sonny and Carly’s butt again. Putting his life on the line…again. And the very fact that Sonny’s already asking him to do so, after now getting him back for the second time…is insane. Sonny supposedly had a much stronger conviction to leave the life, which he found was impossible without putting everyone in more danger. But he didn’t skip a beat sucking Jason right back with him. I truly hope Sam stays with “Drew”…risking losing Jason AGAIN…putting her life and her children’s lives at risk again (after her breakdown where she couldn’t bare the thought) would again be, insane. But then again there’s Kim. And Drew.

    The story is one without limit at this point. So good, that I’d rather they focus on it every day for a while and let their other characters take a vacation. (LOL…I DO love so many of them…but this “saga” is must-see soapy right now.)

    Maybe Faison will come along with Britt…but hide in the shadows….

    Oh, Rebecca, I’m already “over” the Jason/Carly/Sonny menage a’twits. Did you see their faces st the station? Utter, complete rapture over Jason and looks of disbelief and confusion cast over at Drew, as if this were all his fault. And even though it wasn’t true, Drew’s accusation that Sonny was seeking payback over his refusing the mob life didn’t seem as ridiculous as it should have, since Sonny has ZERO loyalty. Anyway I’m glad about the Drew reveal or I was until this AWOL business. It makes me anxious and I pray it’s short-lived. What do u think?

    Hey Soaphound…

    “Menage a twits”…hahahaha…I sense a new soap in-the-making!

    Ugh. Well, as said I detest Carly and Sonny. More so Carly And the fact that Jason jumped right back on the saddle to do Sonny’s bidding conveys to me that he values Sonny and Carly’s friendship and his position with them more than he does his life with Sam and their kids. You would think that after several near-death experiences he would, as Billy/Drew decided, leave “the life.” It’s never even a consideration with him.

    I actually DO like Sam and Steve Burton’s Jason together. Watching their scenes these last few days, the love was palpable, the longing, the loss, etc. And Jason KNOWS her so well. When he saw her on the pier and she was obviously distraught from the truth…torn between her love for both…he just looked at her and said, “it’ll be okay.” Those few words for me packed a wallop. It was just full of love, support, understanding and like he was holding her in his arms without touching. And yet…

    I love Billy’s Drew. You know I’ve agreed with you all along about how devastating all this has been for him. I never felt he “whined” as some, LOL, whined that he did. I thought he was/is justifiably distraught, confused, fearful, rejected, dejected…and yes…Sonny, Carly, Diane, Robin were horrible to him. Thankfully, Sam, Monica, Curtis, Liz and even Spinelli didn’t turn their backs on him.

    This AWOL thing was quite the surprise! I really wasn’t expecting that and haven’t been reading spoilers so, ya, it was something I hadn’t considered. Another great twist by the writers…they’re following up one dilemma with another which keeps the story moving and yet not too predictable.

    I think when Sam goes to Jason for help in exonerating Drew, it might bring her closer to Jason. So far she’s avoided him except for a bit of chat. They haven’t even hugged. I can’t imagine that she hasn’t run into his arms. She loved Jason with everything she had. And he, her. And yet, to find out he’s alive, with the same face that she thought (and had accepted) was gone forever…I don’t care how much she loves Drew it’s got to be completely beyond her wildest imaginings to have him standing there…and yet is taking everything she has not to allow herself to feel what she must be repressing.

    Drew? It was a bit ridiculous that he thought Sonny was messing with the proof…but he’s more reactive than his brother and he’s up against the wall. He just lashed out and understandably so.

    I’m still wondering about Kim. I can’t tell if she really loved/loves Drew. She seems too calm right now. If she thought him dead, and there he is, new face and all…strange that we haven’t seen her in private moments where she’s freaking out or calling a friend or having a flashback of the two of them in love…Unless, she had something to do with his disappearance.

    Oh, Soap, I just don’t know! ;) And that is why we’re going to tune in tomorrow and the tomorrows following to see how it all unfolds! Don’t be “anxious!” In the words of Jason, “it’ll be okay…” :)

    Can i say how much better GH has been since they dumped Jean Passanante as co head writer for Chris Van Etten. GH used to be a chore to get through and the show was so dull. Now its exciting, interesting and this whole 2 Jason story has been great. Interesting Shelly Altman is doing much better work with Van Etten versus Passanante. Anyone else notice a different in GH since the co head writer change.

    Story is moving wayyyyyy faster than the John Doe disaster that introduced Billy Miller to GH.

    I know in some way, Billy Miller feels cheated knowing that the man he’s been familiar with for 5 years is now a imposter.

    But this story has introduced new exciting characters that I hope will stick around after the “Real Jason” reveal.

    GH played this out really careful and made sure that Billy had story beyond the reveal.

    We may have gotten back Steve, but Billy will now creating the magic in good storytelling.

    I’m looking forward to Drew finding himself and his past. I also hopes he shaves that dreadful beard.
    I know e has put on some pounds but the beard makes it worse,especially since Billy is really good looking.
    Also the Drew story line will give him so much room to create his own personality and so much to discover while still setting his roots in PC.
    I am excited also for the Drew/Oscar story.. it should be fun..

    One of the highlights of the week was Billy Miller’s character telling Carly to go to hell. He’s really come alive in his scenes now that he doesn’t have to play the Stone Cold vibe.

    Who cares, Billy Miller’s portrayal of Jason far exceeds the robot Jason as portrayed by Steve Burton. Billy is more handsome and believable in his acting. He is playing the role of Jason who no longer needs Sonny, but wants his family and a fulfilling lifestyle.

    Billy Miller will be found to be the real Jason in the end!

    He was never supposed to be “Stone Cold.” It was said repeatedly that he wasn’t the same since he’s been back. Not by the viewers but by Carly, Sonny, Michael…even Sam. He wanted out of the mob, he was more affectionate, was more tolerant of Franco in that he didn’t pound on him like Steve’s Jason just did, etc. These weren’t the actor’s decisions to not have the “Stone Cold vibe.” He was a different man in demeanor because that’s how he was written. Differently, a man more oriented toward family than Sonny’s business. A man who is strong, tough, fierce…but not lacking emotion.

    Thus, I don’t think he was miscast; just portrayed differently as per the direction his character was given/written.

    Miller mumbles his lines and has an inaudible voice. He can’t project at all. Imagine him as a stage actor, you can’t, he wouldn’t get hired.

    Burton embodies the character he plays, he makes you believe he is Jason Morgan. That is the job of an actor. To be believable as you say and that’s Burton as Jason. As for handsome? Please…

    Burton embodies the character Jason Morgan because it was his portrayal that has been portrayed all these years until his departure. So, of course he makes you “believe he is Jason” because long-time viewers are used to his voice, his expressions, his mannerisms, etc. They didn’t clone Billy’s character. They just imprinted memories. So, of course he wouldn’t be an exact replica…emotionally or characteristically. Which is why he was different. Again, not the actor but the way each of the two were written. Steve Burton as Jason was written exactly as it was in the past..stoic, few words, pragmatic. He is sticking by Sonny because he IS Stone Cold. Billy’s character, on the other hand, didn’t seem like “Stone Cold” because he wasn’t written to be. He wanted out of the mob, he actually left, he had a curiosity and a desire to start a new line of business, he was more tolerant of Franco, etc.

    So Burton embodies it because he’s the same as we remember. Billy’s character was never the same; not in demeanor, temperament…he was more “kissy-kissy” with Sam, he was buddy-buddy with Curtis, he was always more open with his feelings.

    Well in truth he never did. He never played Stone Cold..Though he did do an altered version of Jason.

    But I see the friendship rebirthing…He may not be Jason but as they have said,they still care about him and know he risked his life for Sonny. But they shouldn’t have to lie to him that’s not doing him any favors.

    I have really enjoyed this story arc with Steve Burtons return. Glad Billy is getting really good material, actually the whole group is Thankful the reveal was made incredibly quickly in Soap time! Looking forward to where this goes long term.

    Well that was all too convenient…. which tells me Steve Burton is Jason for now… until he starts having memories about being Drew! We all know Helena is behind this and it’s oddly strange that not one person has thought of that or mentioned it, especially Dr. Robin! I like that Billy Miller is Drew because it allows him to use his range but I think down the road he’ll wind up being Jason… or at least Jason Q and not Jason M.. There’s definitely more to this story. No matter what, Carly and Sonny have their guy/robot, one that will always put them first.

    Those are my feelings, as well, Yvonne….for now, I accept Steve as The Jason.
    There is more to this story—-too smooth, as I said, also.
    Since when does a soapy plot not have a hitch? A twist?
    Awaiting with bated breath…..
    Neverthelees, this turn of ‘veiled’ events have sent some into a gloating frenzy. LOL.
    We shall see….the door is ajar, for me.
    But, seriously, Billy is better off as Drew, albeit, as I said early on ( actually called both Neanderthal), he has anger issues just as Steve displayed when attacking Franco.
    Was it a tactic to confound us? Keep us guessing?
    Furthermore, Franco’s ‘work’ is (yet) not done. It’s coming…..

    No, I think the end game is what we saw Friday. Steve is Jason. His story now will be focused on Sam. Billy is Drew. He actually COULD have a bigger story now since he has Sam to consider AND he needs to rediscover who Drew is.

    So Steve Burton is Jason Morgan. We knew that from the beginning. Now what can he do? Let me see….ummm mutter incessantly, stare into space without uttering a word or ummm beat someone up? *Sigh* I don’t really care that he’s back on the canvas because he is the most snoozy of all of them. This story was a complete waste of time. Billy Miller has carried this show storyline with how he has reacted to it all. He is just stunning at the reaction scenes. Kelly Monaco is really projecting some strong emotions with having to make her choice. But let me say that if she choses Jason her character will fade into the woodwork because they have ZERO chemistry together. Billy and Kelly have chemistry. I root for them. But I know what they are going to do. It’s just sad that they wasted so much time with a story that had zero pay off. I’m glad we’re all back in the 90′s with Steve Burton wearing a jacket that has never been washed and acting like he is so bored reading his lines. I nominate him for a Razzy award this year. I know all the h8ters are going to come for me about Mr. Burton but I don’t care……He is a snooze on screen. Meanwhile Ava and Griffin are awesome together. Here’s to a great story with them.

Billy and Kelly have been the emotional touchstones for me during this reveal, and I can’t wait for Billy to get to sink his teeth into a new character, not a recast. Jason, Carly, and Sonny should kick Joss out and move in together. At this point, they deserve each other.

    As a viewer who has always been a fan of Jason Morgan. I’m beyond thrilled to have Steve Burton back because as much as I love BM he never pulled off the feel of Jason Morgan. I accepted because I felt it was due to his accident but also I had no choice. And I liked him

    This often happens when main characters get replaced. I adore Laura as Carly, but I have to say Sarah Brown who created the role is maybe my favorite. I loved her raw edge.
    I know many prefer TBs Carly.. I despised her at first but tolerated her over time because the character grew into something else, something more elegant and mature.
    And for me Laura’s Carly is a mix between the first Edgy Brave ballsy Carly And the elegant also brave and fiery Carly TB brought.
    She is elegant and strong and street smart all in one. So while Sarah is my favorite Carly she originated the role, it’s her creation.

    But I also was thrilled when she returned for Olivia Zacchara… Again I adored her raw character.. Great actress and I hated she died

    I wish they would have had Billy as Jason Quartermaine before the accident with AJ, and that they were switched and Steve would have been Jason Morgan- Jason after the accident. That would have been a much better story, and everyone would have been somewhat satisfied and Billy/Jason would have had less to be upset about. I feel so sorry for Billy and his character. I can see GH eventually deciding to get rid of the character, though I love him more than Steve’s Jason. Not because of Steve, but because he’s more of a normal, feeling person, and not a killer. Don’t count on Steve sticking around , though. He made up a reason he was leaving and in no time flat he was on another soap. he’s a great actor, but I’m not going to get invested in the character. I hope Sam doesn’t break “Andrew’s” heart.

    I didn’t see anything on Friday’s episode that would negate the (fabulous) fan theory that Andrew is Jason Q before the accident. In fact, that the motives for the memory switch and the people behind it are still a mystery, I’d say that it’s still on the table as an option. This isn’t me reaching here… they’re putting all of those pieces in place (specifically reaffirming Monica’s love for Andrew and the acquisition of the media empire ie something in his brain is bringing out his inner Quartermaine). I’d also not be surprised if we found out soon that part of his military service was medical. I don’t think we’re done with the evolution of Andrew into Dr. Jason Quartermaine.

    Even if this doesn’t come to pass, for the first time in a long time, I find myself having fun watching this show and trying to figure out where it’s going. The show is also going out of it’s way to have its cake and eat it too all the while allowing both fanbases to get what they want. It seems to me that under past writing regimes, specifically Guzas reign of terror (which eventually got me to drop this show for many years) it seemed as though the fans would suggest/request something and the writers would do the exact opposite just to piss us off. I never understood that. We’re the ones keeping the show alive and while no writer can please everyone, killing this or that character off just to spite the fans seems to be counter productive.

    In any event, regarding Steve’s reason for leaving, I think that he and the former head writer (Ron) had disagreements over how the character was to be handled and Steve (from what I’ve heard) decided to jump ship citing family reasons rather than work with him any longer. Ron was infamous for having Twitter wars with fans and stars which is, I think, what ultimately got him removed from the show. You can’t piss off that many people and keep your job (unless you’re the president of course, but I digress). Bottom line is – I don’t see Steve going anywhere as long as the show makes him Stone Cold and able to be the tough gun toting guy and nothing else. (And don’t even get me started at the INSANE conversation about Franco being a ‘bad’ serial killer and Jason being a “good’ hit man because avoiding THAT is the only way that I continue to watch this show and like these characters).

    Lol! The ridiculous fan-fic started months ago that BM is Jason Q switched at the accident won’t go away. The writers are smart enough not screw with the character that way. It has nothing positive to offer and only kills a great story.

    If Miller can’t make it with this character as laid out, a former Navy Seal, then he should go wait tables or something until his “big break” in prime-time comes through. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

    When fans have theories that not all agree with they’re not “ridiculous.” This has been fun to try to figure out and the “switched after AJ accident”was/ is quite plausible. Will it come to be? Perhaps not. But if it wouldn’t ruin anything in my book. So far, they’ve done a great job. Looking forward to its continuation….

    Nobody is paying any attention to something physical here. When Jason was injured and dumped into the water and thought dead, he had facial injuries. Those injuries could be why his face was so easy to change when his memories were also swapped. This further places Billy as Jason, unless Andrew was swapped as a child and lived the life of Jason from age 3 until the injuries and presumed death 5 years ago. Follow me???

    Billy Miller looked llike he was in so much pain, I could feel it through the screen, and Sam damn she looks like she’s always sizing up the two Jason’s probably trying to figure out who she had more fun in bed with, the real JASON was giving us that condescending/dear in the headlights look that he’s mastered. Diane is all she care about how much she can charge her dumb clients? Talk about being money hungry! Earlier in that same episode it was disgusting/disturbing , and sad to see sonny telling his trained pet Jason that he’s gotta take care of some shady business in Puerto Rico , like hell yeah it’s called hurricane Maria!! Is sonny going to send jason to help the country? Doubt it sonny really is one selfish sob! Sonny n Carly are so clueless that they haven’t once questioned dr Maddox bout the so called help he provided to Morgan. They probably forgot bout him now that their pet JASON is back. GH is good agian so I’m happy !!!

I honestly got the feeling that she didn’t give a damn if Andrew or Jason goes home with her.     Well Sam already knew who was who.. She just never admitted it to Drew.
    She loves both men but it’s been 5 years since Jason was home and in that time she fell in love with Drew. She will Ofcourse choose Drew for now but will she be able to stop longing for Jason?
    I think over time she will go back and forth before her heart decides..

    As for everyone else I don’t think anyone acted badly to Drew.. And Dianne is always just earning her money with only small shows of emotion. Drew was the one being an ass to Carly, Carson tried to tell him they cared for him but he wouldn’t hear it because they didn’t think he was Jason. Well he isn’t and he was still rude, to Carly and Jason who simply came home…He hasn’t tried to storm the home and claim what’s his.. He rescued his wife/Love from being kidnapped and drowning. He hasn’t asked Drew to move out of his home and get away from his kids or even his wife.. He came HOME and reclaimed his name. And Drew acts like an ASS and tells him he isn’t his brother. Well thanks to that brother he gets to go home and be with Sam and his daughter for Christmas instead of court martialled. So he is an Ass but I understand to a point but I don’t like it. But I also can’t wait for all the stories to come.

    I concur, Jim. I do not understand why the “Killy” fans think Miller was thrown under the bus. I feel like having to play Jason Stonecold Morgan’s was hindering Miller’s natural effervescence and now he can break free and flesh out his own role.
    I have always enjoyed Miller, thought he was terrific as Billy Abbott, but let’s face it. he’s been sleep walking as Jason Morgan. It’s time for him to wake up and start the party as Andrew Caine. Now, if only Andre can give him back his memories.

    I guess the return of Steve ( obviously) was not in the works when Billy picked up the role. I just wonder who made the earth move so powerfully, to impact and shape a complete reversal of a new, ‘remodeled’ Jason.
    Was it Steve who decided to return and upset the PC universe this way? Or was it the PTB’s idea? LOL.
    Be that as it may, I truly did welcome Steve—–as much as it does hurt everyone; Billy, as Drew, will come into his own, as you so eloquently stated, my friend.
    I, also, had the opportunity, throughout this travesty, to see Kelly Monaco demonstrate her acting ability. Sam is hot and cold….but, when she puts the effort into the mix, she’s all in. ….hasn’t said much, but, what she does say hits the spot, nonetheless. Her face has been an open book, thus far. So, speechifying her feelings is superfluous for her character…the old adage is still alive, Jimmy….. “A picture paints a thousand words.”

    Ugh. I agree as does Soaphound, who’s been lamenting that very fact since Burton’s return. The way the characters treated Billy’s “Jason” was so hurtful it’s beyond repair in my opinion. It’s one thing to be thrilled, elated, joyous to feel the “real” Jason, the man you loved and missed for so long is back; it’s another to completely turn your back, act as if you don’t know, react without compassion or support, for the man they’d supposedly come to love as well, who sacrificed for them and risked his life for them more than one time. Really hideous. I truly hope”Drew” won’t forget too easily or too soon about their betrayal like Michael so completely did after Sonny killed AJ and Carly covered it up. Time doesn’t heal ALL wounds…

    Yeah, I know neither of them is Monica’s bio son, but she did love , whom she thought was Jason, as her own. It must be such a blow to be faced with such a dilemma. ….for all involved.
    Nonetheless, I think that even if nuJason turns out to be Drew, Monica has had ample time to develop a motherly love for him. She can love both. As a mother, I know I would.
    As far as liking ( which is different from love) Jason2 more? Yeah, I guess you may be right….personality-wise, maybe?

    I’ve said this before ( and I am probably wrong), I will say it again…..the “twins” may turn out not to be brothers. It could be all a ruse. It is a soap, where the unbelievable and the ridiculous happens. The miscreant who put this all in motion has a target (s) in mind. Those whom he/she thinks have done him/her wrong. The Jasons are the weapons, as it were.
    PC is the stage and the targets “merely players” ( Willy Shakespeare).
    Transfusion? Plasma transfer? There may be a ‘cell’ working at the lab playing with the bloodwork/DNA…..just a thought.

    su0000…I don’t know how long you’ve been watching GH but Monica ADORES Jason Quartermaine aka Jason Morgan. She raised him. Though she was upset that he joined forces with Sonny, he was always a good son to her. She was one of the few people in the family (along with his grandmother Lila and sister Emily) that he remained close to. She would NEVER care for him any less. He is the one she raised. So if I HAD to choose, I’d say she’d choose Jason Morgan over Drew. With that said, she won’t have to choose. She’s come to love Drew and has thought of him as her son for the last few years. So, she’s the real winner in this story. She doesn’t have to make a choice and she never abandoned either one when identities were in question. Considering Monica has lost everyone to death…including her biological son AJ, her adopted daughter Emily and Jason (twice) before he suddenly appeared alive..again…well…now she has two for the price of one! Monica now has “twins” who she considers her sons.

    Hey Suooo, in theory I think you’re right. With a NAVY Seal background Andrew would really be able to make mince meat out of Jason.
    However, as executed by Miller, I don’t see that happening. He was never quite adept at playing those action scenes. The only physical test I see that cuddle bug Andrew winning is the race to the refrigerator.

    Great acting but I do not care for the story. I wonder if the fantastical elements soaps have taken in recent years is a reason why the genre is weaker in audience and popularity. Don’t get me wrong, I try to keep up with all four remaining legacy soaps. But when they require such a level of suspension of belief, it is difficult to stay on board.

    The fantastical elements have been a part of soaps since the weather machine in the 1980s. Before that, there were twins of dead people showing up (All My Children’s Kitty and Kelly in the mid/late 70s) and Vicky going to Heaven on One Life to Live (the 80s). Don’t forget about Marlena’s possession also in the 80s (90s?). While it may be true that the fantastical elements have made the genre weaker, it is nothing remotely ‘recent’.

    I enjoyed the story up until Jason 6 jumped through the roof window, no matter how good the acting or not.

    After that…Jason6 has shown no empathy for what his presence in PC, Jason Drew’s turncoat friends, (except Sam at least for the time being), and further reveals on who is who is doing to Jason/Drew. He is really STONECOLD.

    And Jason Drew while, having all kinds of reasons to be upset, is behaving like a loose cannon all of the time. And again, like Jason6, not looking at what his brother has been through with any kind of empathy. You wouldn’t think a Navy Seal who has seemed to retain many of Seal instincts and training, and with all kinds of accolades would be so out of control.

    And then there are the turncoats. Just beyond shame on each and every one of them for how they have behaved towards a “past friend,” Jason Drew.

    Wonder if there is still a wild card role for Franco to play? So far I think Roger has done a good job with what he has had t work with.

    But I’m sure the writers have set us up for all of this. So I will be watching to see what’s next. The Jason’s become BBF’s? I know, that’s pushing it.

    I LOVED Jason jumping through the window! In that single moment, all of Jason’s instincts to protect Sam (even if she’s married to someone else) came rushing back and it was a true love moment! LOL…I actually got a rush! Seriously, Steve Burton was fantastic in that scene. Like a predator, he lay in wait, observing the scene below as people were being held at gunpoint. You could see him considering, perusing…and then…BAM! he sees Sam’s at risk and instinctively leaps through the window without a concern for himself. True superhero moment. The subtle flicker, the change in Burton’s expression when his character sees Sam being injected…wow!…

    I agree with you about his lack of concern for Drew. At least he’s not gloating or throwing it in his face. He’s understandably relieved to be verified and in true Jason Morgan fashion, is weighing everything methodically even though his emotions are involved. His love for Sam is as great as Drew’s…he’s willing to sacrifice being with her and reclaiming his life if she’s happy with his brother.

    And, yes, I’ve empathized with Billy’s Drew the whole time. He got the worst part of the deal. His own life stripped away, the life he believed was his isn’t, the sons he has aren’t his, the wife he loves still loves his brother (even if she’s repressing it.) He can’t empathize with Jason now. His own life is too threatened; his identity a compelte mystery to him. He really is lost.

    The turncoats? LOL. Great description! Yeah; they’ve been despicable.

    Love Franco. I’d like him to have a good life with Liz and stop being the AJ substitute for town punching bag.

    I didn’t say it right. I liked Jason6 up until after he jumped through the window. I too liked this instinctive move to save Sam. It’s how he’s acting towards Jason/Drew, or not acting, that is bothering me.

    One more episode for Outlanders. I haven’t really enjoyed the 2nd season since Claire and Jamie reconnected.

    Also, I don’t think Kelly and Sam are getting her their due here. Talk about confusing, but so far Sam has been loyal and supportive to Jason/Drew, but at the same time open to Jason6. Not sure where it’s going to end up, but I hope with the Billy/Jason. And I really liked when she told Andre no sympathy for him, and further, where to go while at the police station. Too much undisclosed money going on in the world for the “right” or greedy reasons.

    And love how Monica is handling having both of her two sons back. Way better and classier than anyone else.

    Then there’s the Kim and Oscar equation. How long is Kim signed up for? But if we are to have a retro newbie back in PC, I think she is doing great. Plus she has a job at GH.

    Also love Leisl back. Love how she is portrayed. Was never a big Brit fan, but we’ll see.

    And “no” to the old Morgan for at least right now if not indefinetly, and all the drama-overload we would get from the already drama-overload of Carly and Sonny.

    It is beyond me as to why Billy Miller’s Jason would want to fight for the identity of a career criminal wth over 50 arrests. If I were him I would be relieved I wasn’t that person and forever connected to Sonny and Carly — and I’d dump Sam to save myself months of having to listen to her “process” everything. If you ask me, Drew is the big winner in this whole thing. Now he just needs to sue for custody of Scout so at least one of those poor kids has a chance at living a life not tainted by continual criminal activity and violence.

    My partner (who hasn’t watched in months) said that every scene with the crowd in the police station looked like an episode of THE CALIFORNIANS with the multiple shots of the cast waiting for Andre to parcel out the next nugget of the story before they went to commercial.

    Grant Putnam, yes it is true that Sonny shot and “killed” A.J. “in cold blood”, but it’s not just a one sided situation here. A.J. was seen , by Sonny himself, strangling (I believe it was) Ava Jerome. And so he naturally doesn’t like seeing a woman / female getting abused. So, he shoots him. AJ honestly deserved what he got, and if Sonny’s bestie Jason ever decides to place blame on Sonny himself. But Jason I think knows how Sonny has felt with wanting to “do A.J. in”, so-to-say. Remember that Jason and A.J. both did not have the best sibling relationship. It for sure had it’s turmoil.

    With all due respect, Ashland, I do not see Sonny as the upstanding person you describe.
    He is the last to judge anyone. Sonny has a dark soul without contrition and undeserving of any redemption. He made a choice to kill…and, he did….not out of noblesse for women, but as the brute, that he is.
    Sonny does not like seeing a woman getting abused?….from what I understand he shot Carly, did he not? He abused and affronted the heavens by having sex on holy grounds ( he and Ava both). Lord, and GH long-time fans, only know how many other women he abused.
    AJ deserve it? Oh, good grief….wasn’t he shot by Sonny, point blank, without hesitation in cold blood. It is that intense hate which makes a murderer a murderer. And, Sonny is not a prophet, not a judge, not a jury, not an honorable human being….mostly, he’s not God!! Just a feral animal , and a wannabe He-man, with his tail tucked between his legs, who is presently being led by the nose by a He-woman, his wife.

    No way did AJ “deserve it.” AJ was abused by Sonny and Carly for years! They stole his son, prevented him from seeing him, tied him to a meat hook, made him sign away his rights by threatening him. They’ve ridiculed him, demeaned him, made him look horrible in his son’s eyes. Carly doused him with alcohol and made him think he was drinking again (that’s why it GALLS ME when she talks about what Ava did to Morgan!)…they were completely disgusting to AJ. For Sonny to walk around and dote on Michael…having stolen him from AJ…all the while he’s stealing yet again Avery from Ava. While the circumstances are different and this time he is the bio father…what right does he have to keep Ava away from their daughter? She’s no worse than him. And AJ had an illness…alcoholism..which he was conquering. And yet they thought Michael needed to be kept away from him??? So Michael could what? Be shot and be in a coma? Shoot someone, get arrested and raped in jail? Yeah…AJ as a father would have been sooo much worse. Please.

    It’s also infuriating that the writers keep omitting mention of AJ from the canvas. Yes! Jason should know Sonny killed his brother and Carly covered it up! He should have some sort of reaction, loss, sorrow, conflict. There was a time when AJ was originally thought dead that Jason went to the Quartermaine crypt and apologized to AJ…if I remember correctly he said he knew now what it meant to be a father and he was sorry that he took Michael from him. Something to that effect. So, yes, Jason should know and should be angry. Sonny and Carly have already turned him from Ava because of what she did to Morgan; what they did to AJ was multitudes worse. And yet he cherishes them. It’s truly a maddening point in the story for many.

    The reveal was great, but I was disappointed that Monica wasn’t there for it! You’d think that she would want to know for sure who was who, because they are both Alan’s sons and she has grown to love Andrew like her own even though she didn’t raise him. I also wanted to see her rip Andre a new one for using her hospital as a base for monitoring the Jason/Andrew and duping everyone in the process.

    I also laughed when Andre said he has the best of intentions when treating Jake. Sure, he might not be an inherently malicious or evil person (like Helena or Faison) but someone who’s willing to bend their moral and ethical code to the extent he did should not be allowed to medically treat anyone, least of all a child. Plus, he intentionally manipulated and misled Franco, not only compromising his oath as a psychiatrist, but also the mental health of a patient with a long history of mental illness. I have no respect for the guy moving forward.

    Despite his obvious deception Andre does have a good heart. What he did to the twins is unforgiveable; how he rationalized it, probably as I said the hurting the few for the good of mankind theory…his desire to cure those with memory deficit…perhaps he thought if he did reach some conclusion he’d be able to restore Drew’s memories. Perhaps he still can.

    I also believe he sincerely wanted to help Morgan and was crushed when he “died.” (or didn’t die.)

    Andre’s a good man gone bad, for what he thought were good reasons. Horrific crime, to steal a man’s life as he did to Drew. Many horrors done in real life, too, that we’re probably not aware of. Not to mention the horrific experiments they conduct on animals…

    Yeah, that is pretty nasty. Mental Illness is a fragile thing and you can lose it so quickly. I understand that more than ever this year now that I have developed anxiety that I never had before. Even the smallest interactions can make you paranoid and lower your self esteem. I can only imagine how this story would have played out in REAL life.

    I feel bad that they made Andre a “baddie.” LOL..I always liked him and found him a calm presence in Port Charles. I do think they used his back story so that it makes sense but it’s a shame he used his brilliance and what I believe was truly his intent…to help people with memory-robbing ala alzheimers condition…by destroying the lives of other human beings in the process. The old…sacrificing the few for the good of mankind syndrome.

    I don’t think though that Franco has a “mental illness.” I do believe his actions were the result of his tumor as well as his obviously yet-to-be revealed early childhood trauma. It’s likely that Drew was the uncontrolled child; perhaps it was he who threw Franco down the stairs. Either way, all their lives have spiraled (staircase pun intended!) out of control.

    Franco being a twin a Q would have made for years of phenomenal stories!

    The writers thought too ordinary.
    Franco at odds with his twin Jason and in the Quartermain realm how perfect it could have been..
    Roger going through changes with his Franco character would have been gripping.

    But, once again the writers had an opportunity they screwed up.
    I’m disappointed :(

    I hate that Franco has eaten up Lizzy’s identity. I think Lizzy is an interesting, nuanced character but her only role seems to be to prop up Franco with his insatiable need for love and validation.
    Rebecca Budig is an amazing, albeit underrated, actress, and I think Lizzy is worth about 100 of Sams. Give this character a story which doesn’t resolve around needy Franco!

    I just have to wonder how long term Franco is meant to be. I think this engagement to Elizabeth will be just that. I don’t think they will get married. I think Elizabeth and Steve Burton’s Jason will finally get together. I see Roger leaving at some point. There is NOTHING going on with his character and he hardly has any interaction with Scott — who has ZERO interaction with his off the canvas daughter, Serena.

    I don’t believe Steve Burton’s Jason and Sam are endgame any longer because she has a child with Billy Miller’s Jason.

    There was crescendo, no doubt….but the landing did nothing for me, due to the fact that from the get-go most assumed the outcome—Steve is Jason.
    So, this story, if left as is, went nowhere…fell flat on its face. Gimme something tangible, writers!!!!

    I love Franco and I’m hoping that Liz doesn’t leave him when she ultimately finds out he lied to her about knowing which was the real Jason. In typical soap opera fashion she’s ecstatically happy…until it all blows apart. I’ve been saying this all along but she really should give him some slack; she lied too many times to hold it against him. And, in his defense, he’s insecure (rightly so) and he did try to tell her but, like the “twins” he’s afraid of losing the one he loves.

    I’m rooting for Franco and Liz. As for Sam? I feel torn. When I see her with “Drew” they’re perfect together and she’ll have a safe life with him. When I see her with Jason…it’s heartbreaking. She’s been in shock since he’s been back…seemingly not letting the truth surface that he’s “her” Jason…denying that the man she currently loves, never was. When I saw her comforting Drew and telling him how much she loved him and wasn’t leaving it seemed so right; so poignant. And then she sees Jason on the pier and he utters, “it’ll be alright,” and I, myself, melted. LOL. I don’t envy anyone loving two people at the same time. I’m waiting for Sam to run into Jason’s arms; I’m afraid it’ll be all over for her and Drew when she does. And, maybe it should be. Over.

    Then there’s Kim. Perhaps she and Drew will reestablish a relationship if, indeed, Oscar is his son and they once loved each other. Unless, she’s evil. Rumors have been that she had something to do with the switched identities which would, of course, ruin any chance of romance.

    It’s all up in the air. Which makes it interesting…but no one’s secure at this point. Kudos to GH for keeping us guessing.

    By the way, though Ingo is no longer on the canvas, “Joceylyn” couildn’t look anymore like him than if she were actually his daughter in real life. Down to her very expressions!

    I agree completely, su…..but, we should not be too hasty in dismissing Franco. He is one of the most exemplary baddie turned good—-amazing!! He is weird, but I like him; and, I do not know if it’s because he’s Todd’s crossover; or because I love Roger.
    The writers did miss this great of opportunity….Franco as the twin would have been more challenging and, yes, more soapy.
    Billy and Steve are just too obvious….I repeat–no suspense!!
    Nevertheless, did you notice that glint of craziness in Franco’s eyes while hugging/holding Lizzie after her marriage proposal?!?! What does it mean? Is he telling one and all, “Ha Ha; I know something none of you does”?
    All is not lost, SuzieQ—keep the faith, soldier!!

    The look in his eyes was because he was going to confess to Liz that he knew which twin was which (Andre told him in the letter). And, just as he was finally about to confess she proposed to him…so he chickened out…afraid he’d lose her…especailly now that she wanted to marry him. So, the look was concern…knowing once again he lied by omission.

    I have to agree where others have said there is more to come on the 2Jason’s saga. I believe the story line is going to take Sam and Jason/Billy (JMBM) to the brink of separation. Not because she sways toward believing in Jason/Steve (JMSB), but that she continues to worry about what the right thing to do would be.

    The ending of the JMBM situation is Monica proclaiming equal rights to both of Alan Qs twins financially and familiarly. This will stop JMSB from taking JMBM accomplishments over the past two years away from him and Sam.

    The biggest problem will be in JMSB claiming his children Jake and Danny. Both boys are in an extremely precocious age group. They will start off confused by the twin story and memory swapping. Each of the boys will struggle in their own right. They will put their parents through hell with their questioning of the events that occurred. They will utilize the silent treatment and running away to divert everyone’s attention to their painful suffering in the JMBM vs JMSB trauma.

    Many different events will twist and turn throughout the children’s array of behaviorall outbursts. This is where the story is going to culminate in the real Jason identity being outed. JMSB will slip up in a conversation with Danny that will clarify he is actually Drew
    However, no one will put two and two together from the way Danny relates the conversation. This will lead to other twists and turns until the truth finally comes out, and Drew proclaims his real identity. He insists he came to the conclusion he is Drew through multiple flashbacks of his Navy Seal training and missions. And through his time with his family, Kim and Oscar.

    That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I DO NOT want JMSB to be the real Jason Morgan. And speaking of the name Morgan, I think it’s high time we get Morgan C. back, even if they have to replace the actor portraying the role. They’ll find out that Morgan was held by the same people who plotted and carried out the memory swapping of the twins. Morgan has no memory and the only person capable of returning the memory of each of the men is none other than Andre. Let’s see him follow the court ordered memory resolution without him getting a cushy deal!

    What do y’all think of my theory? Or is it wishful thinking?

    Jake would be especially confused, as he’d have to get used to calling a third man daddy. Until a few months after he returned from Cassadine island, Jake only knew Lucky as his dad. Then, Billy Miller’s Jason and now original sperm donor Steve Burton’s Jason.

    Poor kid could use therapy, wait that really hasn’t been a good idea so far.

    Well now Sam has children with two men so it should not matter if she stayed with Billy Miller’s character. Her history with Jason is pretty much over. She will probably find a way to allow Jason into Danny’s life but I do not believe that Sam and Jason are now endgame because she has children with two different fathers.

    Maybe now Elizabeth will get some respect since she isn’t the only one with children with different fathers, but … who am I kidding? She is the GH punching bag.

    As far as mulitple baby daddies…all the women have that on GH. Carly, Alexis, Olivia, Liz, Sam, Tracy, ( Lulu even though that was a” tad” outside the norm), Maxi, Ava…basically every single one of them!

    I am rooting for Sonny and Carly to remain the ridiculous mob couple that they are. When I say ridiculous, I mean it in the nicest of ways. Sonny does not remind me of a mob boss at all. He sways back and forth from being a marshmallow and a meatball. When mob bosses play the role of a kind and benevolent husband and father, they do so with a tone that would make one say, “Whoa, he is such a softee, NOT.” The most one would get from him would be to say he is a family man with the same tone he used when ordering a hit. His family would ALWAYS show their love and affection toward him.

    Whomever disagrees, disagrees BUT I love how the Jason identities were revealed! First, they had all the pertinent parties gathered at one place. I know, Monica wasnt there BUT her scenes with Burton and Miller should be just the three of them. Secondly, Burton IS Jason. Miller couldnt do the character justice. Now, thats not a knock on Miller, its just that ONLY Burton gives that 20 year old and counting character justice. Now the good news, they can have Maddox deprogram Miller and he will became Drew and he will lighten up and become the Billy Miller we all know and love and still be a bad ass because he was a Navy Seal and proudly served this great country. GH, I tip my hat!

    I think if the mystery had proceeded that Billy Miller’s character would have eventually started breaking down — he was already not acting like Steve Burton’s Jason — he was angry, telling people to go to Hell, etc. Steve’s Jason had always had somewhat of a calm demeanor for a hitman (haha), but he seemed to take the higher road.

    With Billy’s Jason seeing Oliver’s mom and having some sort of a reaction, I truly believe that this memory mapping was starting to break down which would not work for this Alzheimer’s/dementia plan.

    What surprised me the most (and apologies if I was not paying attention), but the fact that NOBODY asked if Billy’s character could get HIS memories of being a SEAL, etc. back? That would be something I would want to know!!!!

    However, there are two obstacles. Billy may not be Drew; thus, he has no memories as a navy seal…..and, two: Steve is being overlooked as Drew, the navy seal.
    Both of their memories should be jarred—put to the test.

    Loving GH. I was expecting this turn out. I hope that Sam and Drew stay together. They have great chemistry. I hope that Jason is Oscar’s father and that will keep him away from Sam. I am disappointed with Carly and Sonny. They liked BM Jason but as sooooon as SB Jason showed up, they threw BM over, under and around the bus. They treat him like crap now. Especially Sonny. Anyway, great acting and great story going on right now. I do hope they can keep Andre in the picture and put him in a triangle with Anna and Finn until they bring back Hayden. They can git rid of Amy, Chet, Stella and the new doctor. Bring back Hayden for Finn and Elizabeth needs her sister.

    But, ” I was expecting this turn out” is exactly why the story lost steam, at this juncture. No SURPRISE!!!!

    Well, CeeCee, whilst I am with you on hoping that our beloved Helena makes a big and splashy encore appearance in Port Charles, today I had a real eureka moment….OMG! Could the just mentioned Jimmy Lee Holt—who we’ve discussed here in the past—be a part of this “Two Jasons” conspiracy??? This would make perfect sense since, at one time, he was thick as thieves with both Susan Moore and Heather due to his fallout with the Q’s regarding his huge resentment over not being included as one of Edward’s legal heirs—amongst other issues too numerous to discuss. He also loved little Jason and after Susan died, he (and Heather) tried to get custody of the tyke, along with baby’s tidy Quartermaine trustfund!!!! To say Mr. Holt had a bone to pick with not only his his father, but Alan and Monica, as well, for their various acts of skullduggery is an absolute understatement! Should this theory bear fruit. it would definitely qualify as a massive BOOM!

    As much as I like Jason (Steve Burton) and I like Billy Miller (solo, without Monotone Sam), I am just not too keen on this storyline. Maybe because it’s too far-fetched for me. I guess I think it’s just stupid! I am sick to death of Carly and Sonny. With friends like those, who needs enemies (poor Drew)! Monotone Sam-as boring as ever. She just drowns out every scene/storyline in my opinion. Where was Monica during the reveal? Babysitting? Once again, the PCPD look inept while Spins and Diane work their magic.

    I can’t even go through any scenes with Sonny and Carly, any longer….it has gotten that bad for me. I either mute them or FF their insipid, idiotic, self-serving scenes. The hypocrisy has reached its limit when it comes to these two. Barf!!
    ….not that I like Julian, the character ( though I chuckled at his in-your-face ‘tude, as he posed for the pictures); but, the sanctimonious, almighty and perfect citizens affected by the superlative Corinthoses, threw me into a fit of laughter. All Carly has to do is blow on Sonny, and he will fall over. Ha!!
    It is amazing to me how these writers push these freaks of nature down our collective throats. Intolerable!! Plus, now Avery calls Carly, “Mama”???? That is soooo WRONG, everywhichway!!!!!
    The kid has a mother!!
    I like Steve, but the stoicism is a bit overdone….my heart belongs to Billy, albeit I have a newfound fascination for Steve. Nevertheless, I think “Drew” will be the victor, as joniG stated…..no matter the outcome of his identity, or all the crises he has had to face….and still to confront.
    This story, as I said, has lost its luster. No tongue-in-cheek.
    Sam? She stepped up….I saw a spark….tiny, but there. I am assuming that is her best. I read her face….it spoke to me for a NY minute. She has not been as boring, except for the one-tone inflection in her voice—-thus, monotone. Perhaps, her ‘undertone’ ( LOL) is her appeal??
    I like to see where the Two Jasons’ story goes.
    In the meantime, I can do without the childish rif-raf executed by Maxie and Lulu….I find no amusement in their shenanigans. Dumb!!
    When are the “luscious” characters coming….namely, Britt and Faison?….how about a little bit of Brad?
    Now……What irked me the most, as banale and petty as it may sound, was that stupid XMas tree ‘erected’ by Olivia…..HUH??
    I have been around Italians since I was six years old (in NY, Italy, and MA….and then some), and I have never seen a tacky Christmas tree such as that in any Italian home. What the…..????
    The only tree I have ever seen like that, if memory serves me right ( as it was years ago), was in the Corey (sp) household on “Another World”…..talk about ignorance!!!! Has any one of them ever traveled to Italy?—class lives there….

    Excellent list of grievances there, CeeCeeGirl! Nothing says “Christmas” like the loathsome Sonny and Carly waxing sentimental about the magic of the season….and their oh-so-huge greeting card list! So, St. Sonny plans to personally handle the one directed to “Sam and Drew”…..how very touching…NOT! I also agree that the luster of the “Q a Deux” storyline has tarnished…as soon as Jason resumed his typical arrangement with the Corinthii, I was pretty much done, although that’s not to say that I’m still not pleased to see Steve Burton back on the GH canvas….I simply would have preferred much more ambiguity about his real identity for a bit longer….it all seems a bit anti-climactic after the big build-up. As for Maxie and Lulu’s big caper? UGH! The less said, the better, but am I the only one who is wondering if KS is with child just like her character? She looks convincingly like an expectant mother. Also, I share your repulsion for Olivia’s tacky taste in holiday décor…so OTT gaudy and hideous…how could anyone be THAT clueless??? I mean, it’s not as if Liv hasn’t been out of Bensonhurst before, and as you said, her highly questionable choices for festooning the Quartermaine manse are hardly indicative of the typical Italian Christmas traditions, which I’ve only known to be quite religious, dignified and beautiful….not to mention, chock-full of fabulous food!

    When Andre explained what he did with the mapping of Drew’s brain, he said that the first thing he did was copy Drew’s (Billy’s) memory as a “Baseline”, and then he copied Jason Morgan’s memories onto Drew after that. So…. If he truly copied Drew’s memories as a baseline, that means he has his (Drew/Billy’s) copied memories, so at some point why could he not copy Drew’s old memories back onto Drew?
    I think down the road they will realize this, Billy Miller (Drew) will ask Andre to copy his Drew (baseline) memories back on…. and in this process, he may risk losing all his new memories with Sam — But imagine, if when his memories get copied back on…. that he now gets back his lost Jason Quartermaine memories also. That would be a cool twist…. he really is Jason Q …. and those lost memories come back, one his brain is re-shuffled and his Drew memories are re-implanted.
    That will be how they realize Billy Miller was really Jason Q… because he’ll start to remember the Jason Q memories once everything is re-mapped. Kinda like a computer defrag moves everything in memory around and re-maps it….

    I really want SB/ Jason and Sam to get back together. I get that becoming a mom changes priorities, but Sam and Jason together have always been hot and exciting, and anything but boring. Jason should be the father to both of his boys, Jake and Danny. He would also be open to Scout even though she is his niece. He has always been level head proving Burton is the REAL Jason. Steve Burton’s reaction to everything was true to 20 yrs of character. BM/Andrew can open up new story lines. He can be Oscars father. It could also open up new story lines, characters etc… Jason and Andrew should team up and find out who and why this was done to them. Doing so could possibly build a relationship between the two of them.

    Lucky still has aways to go before he tops Frisco in the dead-beat dad category. And although they’ve patched things up, Robert letting Robin believe he was dead for 15 years would top both Frisco and Lucky. Also in the Hall of Shame are Jeff Webber, Larry Ashton and Paul Hornsby.
