Spicing things up in an upcoming remote shoot in Monte Carlo on The Bold and the Beautiful will be none other than Gilles Marini!

According to ET Online: “Marini will play a doctor who has to unexpectedly treat one of the characters in Monaco. In the storyline, some of the characters travel to Monte Carlo for the Annual Spencer Summit. The trip will also feature a swimwear fashion show challenge pitting the Spectra and Forrester fashion houses against each other.”

The Dancing With the Stars alum will appear in two episodes, beginning Friday, July 28.  This will actually mark Marini’s third appearance over the years on B&B having previously appeared in cameos in 2005 and 2007 as different characters.

So intrigued by Marini coming back to B&B for a guest star appearance? Who will Gilles’ give medical attention to in his new role on the show? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

These cameos are not very exciting. The appearances do not match the hype.

I would think Marini would be a welcome addition to any daytime drama in a meaningful role, even if short lived.

Wow!!!! I love B&B and now Gilles! From “Sex and the City” to “Brothers and Sisters” to “Dancing With The Stars” and more…he is one of THE most gorgeous actors to hit the screen. And he can act/dance too!

Sooooo looking forward to whatever he plays on the show! Great news! A bientot, Gilles!

Great points, Rebecca1! I enjoyed his work on “Brothers and Sisters.” ABC was wrong to cancel that show, as I believe every time-slot replacement since has not improved on the numbers. But that was a great show. I have been a dutiful viewer of “The Americans,” following “Brothers and Sisters” star Matthew Rhys. “The Americans” is now a critical darling. And to come full circle, Gilles Marini will always be considered a “darling!”

    Hi Jamesj75…thanks!

Gilles is beyond swoon-worthy; seems like a nice guy, too. Not, of course, that you ever really know unless you know someone personally…but he comes off very down-to-earth and warm.

Yes! Loved “Brothers & Sisters!” I was shocked to find out Matthew Rhys was British! So many British actors nail the American accent: Matthew, Damien Lewis, Rupert Friend, Jude Law, Sam Palladio (British)and Clare Bowen both (Australian) both from the show “Nashville.” The list goes on…

Never saw “The Americans.” Now I’ll have to look for it! Thanks!

Hey again, Rebecca! You’re right about Marini seeming like a nice guy. Down-to-earth celebrities are most admirable. It’s also interesting, as you point out, how British actors can sound American. I was initially surprised to hear the Rhys is a Brit.

Set in the 1980s, “The Americans” (on FX) has more relevance today, given its subject matter of Russian spies. It can be violent and stark, but it’s a great show, with terrific acting, writing, and complex, conflicted characters. It just went on hiatus and will return in, I believe, March 2018.

Best to you and your loved ones, Rebecca!

I’ll look for the show…by the way…have you watched “Homeland?” Oh my gawd…I’d always heard of it but never checked it out. Season 1 was way back in 2011 I believe. Well, I just binged all six episodes in about a month! Absolutely fantastic…Mandy Patinkin, Clare Danes, Damian Lewis, Rupert Friend, F. Murray Abraham. It’s also quite violent and like many violent shows I watch I’ve picked up the knack of swirling my head just in the knick of time. I do believe I have whiplash from turning away so often! HAHAHHA…but, some of these shows, nonetheless…are just so riviting!

Best to you and yours, too, james…see ya on the next post! ;)

    LOL…correction…six seasons, not episodes.

PS: I’ve heard great things about “Homeland” but haven’t seen it. Take care, Rebecca!

Let him hang around, Stephanie and Liam are boring. Let her sneak around and hook up with him for a while… that will shake things up for a while. Liam is usually the one with 2 women fighting over him….don’t know why??

Well…Gilles was on for a minute…and gone. Another hyped guest in a story arc that was over in the blink of an eye. He should have at least been at the after party and shown his dance moves! Missed opportunity B&B!
