It was always funny how fans of AMC and OLTL say they boycott ABC over those two soaps cancellation but CBS cancelled these two iconic soaps GL ans ATWTs and no one said they were boycotting that network!!!

ABC has the best primetime soaps, really great entertainment programing.

P&G involved. Complicated. Slings thrown at time. Soaps expensive. 2 entities wanted profit not going to happen.

The amount of time spent with the GL and ATWT actors was PATHETIC. Each group must have gotten no more than 5 minutes. Very sad.

If The Talk wanted to “celebrate” 30 years of CBS being #1 in the ratings, why not devote a whole week (5 episodes) to it, giving each show its own hour??? There primarily were 5 shows in the period (if you exclude “Capitol” which was cancelled in 1987, after the first year of the 30 year run and “Let’s Make a Deal”)…..

MONDAY — Price is Right, bringing on Bob Barker, Drew Carey and (highly doubtful but I can hope) the “Barker’s Beauties” —- Janice, Holly, etc. (you could have them appear in a segment after Bob since I don’t think the women left the show with a high opinion of him).

TUESDAY – Y&R, fill it with present cast and bring back some fan favorites (Tricia Cast, Barbara Crampton, Nina Arvesen, J. Eddie Peck, etc.).

WEDNESDAY – B&B, same thing as Y&R with Susan Flannery, Kimberlin Brown showing up for a segment.

THURSDAY – ATWT, the ones who appeared and what about the other veterans that no one even had the time to mention on this episode — Don Hastings, Eileen Fulton, Kathryn Hayes, etc.

    FRIDAY – GL
