3 April 1st, 2011 Happy 48th Anniverary today to General Hospital!

Yes, we have seen some heavy dramatic storytelling in recent weeks on ABC’s top rated soap, General Hospital, and some fans loved it, some fans were upset by it, but no matter whatever your stance is on the subject at least the show is still on the air!

Today GH celebrates its 48th Anniversary, and that is no April Fool’s Joke.  It was April 1, 1963 when the series first premiered on the alphabet network!

So, in honor of this milestone, tell us your favorite GH moments of all-time today! And congrats from On-Air On-Soaps to the cast and crew for another year of delivering soapy programming to their faithful followers. Here’s an old photo of original cast members: Roy Thinnes, Emily McLaughlin and Dr. Steve Hardy himself,  John Beradino to stroll down memory lane with!
