No, not enjoying the 6th season.. it “jumped the shark” after they got into werewolves, shifters, fairies and witches for me.I thought the first 2 seasons were brilliant and PERFECT. The show should have remained about vampire/human relations in a small southern town as the back drop.

Everyone has powers on the show now, the fact that Terry has his OWN storyline when he’s a 3rd/4th tier character says it all. Eric Northman was dangerous and mysterious.. like Samson he lost his powers when they cut his hair.. now he’s almost a wuss with a conscience, before he’s was dangerous and unpredictable(torturing LaFayette).

I used to love this show, it’s lost it’s luster, they’ve gone from a small southern backdrop to toppling the vampire world governing body. The show is too over-the-top now.

I think this is wonderful news! I was highly disappointed with Season 5 and was curious as to what direction Season 6 would take considering Alan Ball had told his story and was now done. I have been so excited for True Blood this season and it will be really interesting to see how they continue the story into Season 7.
