Missing Kimberly McCullough on your screen as Robin as much as we are? Well, today, Kimberly released a brand new video interview in her series of farewell features with the cast, but this time there was a twist! Kimberly was the interviewee and her long time co-star, Jason Thompson (Patrick) was the interviewer! Thompson asked the beloved actress a series of questions that fans have wanted to know from her, including how she felt about her last scene, meeting Jason Thompson for the first time, if she is still watching GH and the way Robin’s exit strategy was played out and much more!
Here are some of Kimberly’s comments on some subjects that many want to know!
Kimberly on how she felt her final scene turned-out: “I felt it was really rushed. I don’t feel like I did a good job and a lot of that is they literally broke for lunch right before our last scene, and it totally stopped the momentum of what was going on with us, and then we had to jump right back in and connect again. And then we re-wrote it right before, and I was still trying to get a handle on what we were saying. I felt really rushed and looking back maybe that is a good thing because that was what Robin was feeling ( speaking in regards to being trapped in the lab) , like I am trying to catch up, and I don’t know what is really going on. But when it was over I was like, “Oh man, I wish I could do that again.”
Kimberly on if she is watching GH since she has been gone, and what she thinks of the show now: “I think everyone is doing an incredible job right now. It’s obvious that Frank Valentini has lit a fire under everyone’s ass, and I really like that. Sometimes I go, “Do I really want to watch it?” And, sometimes it makes me to sad to watch it.”
Kimberly on how she felt about Robin’s exit story: “I’m really proud of you, Jason, and how you handled it. I feel like in a way that weight and burden of the story was put on you and Finola Hughes (Anna) because it happened so fast. I can’t really speak to why it happened the way it did. I am not the writer and I am not the producer, but I am proud in the way it was handled and in a way, at this point it doesn’t matter how I feel about it, because it’s over. All I can do now is be grateful for the time I had there and any other feelings …there is no point.”
