As soapers know, John Stamos was spotted on the set of General Hospital recently in some photos the actor posted with old friends like Kin Shriner (Scotty)! Now Stamos admits on Monday’s upcoming episode of The Jeff Probst Show that he did take a meeting with the GH team to discuss returning as Blackie Parrish for the soaps 50th Anniversary!
However according to TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan, during John’s segment with Probst, he revealed he was not thrilled to hear GH wanted Blackie Parrish to appear at the Nurse’s Ball playing drums while Rick Springfield (Noah Drake) sang his hit, Jessie’s Girl! “That’s not gonna happen,” Stamos tells Probst. “That’s what I passed on.”
But Stamos also stated he was indebted to GH for giving him his show business start, and that he would like something more substantial to do if he were to return to the ABC soap opera. Stamos suggested, “Why don’t we pull Blackie out of jail and he has to reacclimate to life? He’s never been with a girl! I would like to go on GH and do some acting!”
