Here’s a bit of interesting news! Dallas icon, Larry Hagman will be making a posthumous appearance on the CBS special “I Get That A Lot” which features incognito celebrities pranking ordinary people.
Hagman, most famous for his role as J.R. Ewing on the original Dallas and TNT’s Dallas reboot, passed away in December at the age of 81 from complications of throat cancer. Now, according to Huffington Post, Hagman filmed his “I Get That A Lot Segment” at a Santa Clara, California membership warehouse shopping club in September, posing as a salesman offering free samples of barbecue sauce!
“I Get That A Lot” executive Producer Eric Schotz said in a statement: “I think what people didn’t know about Larry Hagman is that he was a prankster at heart. He loved the fact that he could interact with his fans and the fans reactions when they found out it was him are priceless.” The CBS special will air on Wednesday January 9th at 8PM ET/PT and this will be the first time Hagman will be seen on-air since his death since the second season of TNT’s Dallas in which Hagman appears in the first six episodes return on January 28th!
In addition to Hagman, look for Bruce Jenner, Cheech Marin, Jane Seymour and Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan to appear in this prankster special! So will you be tuning in to see Hagman in “I Get That A Lot”? Let us know!!
