25 October 7th, 2011 Lexi Ainsworth CONFIRMS she is out at GH! Tweets sentiments to Fans!

Well, daytime just lost of the most talented young actresses to come down the pike in years! General Hospital’s Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina) who had been rumored to have been let-go by the show, confirmed tonight via Twitter that yesterday was her last tape day! The Daytime Emmy nominated actress shared her heartfelt thanks to her fans, and set the record straight. Here is most of her tweet!

Lexi: “Sorry it seems that I wasn’t responding I was asked by Jill and again by Mitch the publicist not to say anything, but since it appears to be officially out there I will confirm I shot my last episode at GH yesterday. It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I wouldn’t trade one second of it even the not so great parts for all that I’ve learned to prepare me for the next phase of my career. Want to THANK each one of you from the bottom of my heart! Soap fans are the best and I’m so glad to have been part of its legacy.

I wish I could have a tweet fest but believe it or not my landlord told me I had to be out of my apartment by tomorrow. So I’m moving but only to storage since I’m going to be 5 weeks on location for this film, which is another thing I’m so thankful for and wouldn’t have gotten to do this if things hadn’t worked out the way they did. I promise to tweet to you during my down time. Well, I love you all and I am still rooting for GH to beat the odds because you all deserve to see the talents of all those amazing people for years to come! I want to thank my cast-mates, all the wonderful people in hair/makeup and wardrobe for an amazing last day! Beautiful flowers and balloons, & food but especially the love & support that I feel overwhelm me so with that …Good night but not Good bye ”

On-Air On-Soaps wishes Lexi all the best to her new successes, and can’t believe that GH would let her get away or write her off! Stay tuned!

Just another reason for me to leave this sinking ship of a show. Can’t believe OLTL is leaving the air while GH gets to stay when these are the types of horrid decisions they make.

WAS SHE NOT NOMINATED FOR AN EMMY? Okay, yet another stupid decision. I’m giving this until the end of October and if it doesn’t get any better, I’m done watching. I get more frustrated every day and I thought bringing in a new head writer would fix these problems GUESS NOT.

This is all Jill Farren Phelps’ doing. She has a cookie cutter mold of what teenage girls or female soap characters in general should look like and if you don’t fit into that mold, you’re out, no matter how talented or Emmy worthy you are. She did it to Genie Francis concerning her weight and she’s now done it to Lexi because of her petite frame. I’d love for the fans to make enough noise to at least get that harpy fired once and for all and maybe then, General Hospital will stand a chance to stay on the air longer than a year.

So sorry to see this great young actress leave GH. The Ethan/Kristina storyline appeared to be making strides in the right direction. Would have loved to see that romance…a little purity, a little romance would have gone a lo,ng way. I enjoyed watching Kristin mature as well as how her friendship with Ethan was developing slowly into a romance (pehaps). Things move to quick sometimes from meetng someone to sleeping with them without even knowing the person’s last name.

I’ll add one more thing I can’t wait to hear Nancy Grahn tear them apart they dropped the story they were going to write for her was the rumor and she was asked about this young actress and she said no comment .Face it GH does not like women!!!

WTF????? I loved her with Ethan – what the hell are they thinking ? Oh yeah, right, I’d forgotten for a little while with Garin ………..they don’t think..sigh, I thought maybe that had changed.

There are times when I realize I might like being free of soaps and their un fan friendly ridiculousness.

Unbelievable………..un effing believable.

SO pissed.

I am beyond disappointed in GH for letting Lexi go. This is the nail in the coffin for me. I don’t plan on watching GH past Lexi’s last air date. I refuse to watch JFP sexpot recast in the part that Lexi originated and made her own. They should be ashamed of themselves!

I’m not sad that she’s leaving. GH is truly F’N up these days. Let her go and do something worthwhile. While they’re at it, let Molly go too. They already let go of Morgan. Let the show concentrate on Michael and in the end, I hope his character gets shot and killed for good.

isn’t it interesting that the NuKate is 10 years YOUNGER than her character and she replaced an actress playing her age (and closer to Maurices)?? NOW they say Lexi’s “too young looking” to play her own age? Seriously a F’up business, imo. If Lexi didn’t have the acting chops I’d get it, but she does.
This show deserves to die.

So incredibly sad. She is better off. I was willing to start watching GH again if Lexi’s Kristina and Nathan Parsons’ Ethan were finally coupled like they should have been.

Now — I hope GH goes down in flames that are visible from space.

ETHINA IS LOVE and TPTB screwed it up horribly.

I just read Nancy Grahns post on Lexi she is from my hometown so I have special feelings where is this gossip that she was not pretty enough or the males on the show felt weird because she was so young? Boys it is called acting but she is a shining star and because I do feel GH is on it’s way out she probably is better off. Just for the record Hilary Swank was fired from Beverly Hills 90210 and she has two oscars on her mantle. Good Luck Lexi my little OKIE!!!!!

She’s so talented, and has great interactions with the cast. I didn’t care for the character to be honest lately but she’s not beyond being taken in a different direction that is more appealing and less desperate. GH needs to keep all it’s actors that we’ve come to know with the show not fire them and put in a bunch of new bee’s.

This was a huge mistake and loss for General Hospital! Lexi Ainsworth is Kristina and no one will be able to replace her. The ratings for the show will continue to go down if they do not bring this talented emmy worthy actress back to the canvas. She has great chemistry with every actor and actress on the show. Her and Nathan were the most exciting story on the show in my opinion and many others opinions. Also the Davis girls was so cute and fun to watch but without Lexi is just dosent work. Lexi as kristina was so important to the heart of the show you take someone as good and sweet as her out and you loose viewers. Please Gh bring Lexi back and let her just grow on the show theres no reason to let her go!!! We love her!!!

You and Ethan were awesome and I’m 57 years old so I’ve watched GH since the 60′s. They are idiots. This new Kristina is hard edged and I am not a happy camper.
