What a special moment is was for The Young and the Restless Alyvia Lind (Faith Newman), when she was surprised by country superstar Dolly Parton who brought her the news that she will play the younger version of Dolly in Parton’s upcoming bio-pic for television, Coat of Many Colors!
Lind, who has been playing Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter on the number one soap opera auditioned for the part of a Young Dolly in the TV movie that is all about the singer/songwriter’s youth in Tennessee.
Coat of Many Colors is, of course named after Parton’s hit song, and Dolly will be serving as executive producer of the made-for-TV movie that will air on NBC.
