Don’t miss tomorrow night’s (4/23) special ABC Nashville event!

That’s when series stars Charles Esten, Hayden Panettiere, Claire Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Carmack, Will Chase and Sam Palladio take to the state in a very special concert performing the hits songs from the television show taped at Nashville’s world famous Ryman Auditorum!

During the episode, the stars will take the stage to perform show favorites then sit down in the Bluebird Café for acoustic performances.

The special takes an inside look at the songwriting process with the songwriters themselves, talking candidly about how this music found its way to the show and what it means to the actors and songwriters.  The episode begins at 10PMET in Nashville’s normal time slot.

Among the songwriters appearing on the special are Trent Dabbs and Caitlyn Smith, who co-wrote the anthem, “Don’t Put Dirt on My Grave Just Yet,” which Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson’s characters have performed, as well as Striking Matches (duo Sarah Zimmerman and Justin Davis) who’ve co-written “I Ain’t Leaving Without Your Love” with Cary Barlowe, performed by Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio and Chaley Rose on the TV show. Also appearing is notable songwriter Ashley Monroe, solo artist and member of the Pistol Annies, who co-wrote “A Life that’s Good” with Sarah Siskind, which has been performed by Lennon and Maisy Stella and Charles Esten on the series.

Who is your favorite performer from Nashville? Will you be checking out the special tomorrow night?  And, do you think Nashville will get a series renewal for another season?  Let us know!

My favorite part of each episode are the performances! Everyone is very talented! Hard to choose my favorite because each performer is uniquely talented. My DVR is set to record this episode!

I realize that I may be in the minority here, but this episode doesn’t interest me at all. I usually listen to a few seconds of a song then FF the rest. I prefer more dialog and less singing. If there is no storyline involved, I’ll just delete from my DVR.

I do not like the music, they are not all that good..
I like the story and FF through most the music/songs..
I would be happy if there were one, just one, song per episode (preferably rock) lol

I love this show!! The music and the storyline is excellent. You always want more…but the studio or whoever puts it on like every 2 weeks leaving us hanging. I love this show and hope and pray it gets renewed. They soooo deserved it!!

No Stella sisters? They are the musical highlight of the show and what it will be remembered for years from now.

Love the show & Really Hope they bring it back. Would be Awesome if it ran for 6-10 season’s as the Storyline Continues & we get to see Maddy & her sister grow up & one or both become Famous like their mama. See Scarlet Finally find Love & Marriage, the Truth about Will comes out to his New Bride, there are so Many ways the storyline can go.

LOVE this show! Hope it gets renewed for many seasons to come!

I also like Luke…though many are suspicious of his motives toward Rayna I think he genuinely loves her…but probaby a filler until they reunite Rayna and Deacon (who of course I’m crushin’ on like most everyone else!)

Didn’t think I’d like the Nashville Special even though I love the music and the talent…only because I so miss the show and am impatient for the next episode. I did however, watch, and it was fun. The cast (though not complete) who performed were great…fun to see them as themselves doing in reality what they do as their characters on the show. They’re all so muti-talented. What I didn’t want to see was non cast members singing…other than in the band. Just wanted to stick with my Nashville peeps. LOL.

Don’t know why Rayna and daughters weren’t there. Noticeably missed…

One of my favorite all time shows, which probably means that it’s on the chopping block, as that is what usually happens to most shows that I really enjoy. I’m from Canada and a huge Country Music lover. We attended Nashville for the first time over Christmas in 2012 and hope to get back soon. Highlites were attending The Ryman on December 29th. (John Conlee) and The Bluebird Cafe on New Year’s Eve (Roundtable with songwriters, Thom Schuyler; Fred Knobloch; Tony Arata and Jelly Roll Johnson). I think the singing is absolutely terrific on Nashville, and loved the most recent episode where Rayna; Deacon and the two girls sang to The Troops. I wish there was more songs on the show, especially some more with Maddie and Daphne.
