The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by more than 7,000 industry professional members of CMA, which was formed in 1958 as the first trade organization to promote an individual genre of music. The first “CMA Awards Banquet and Show” was held in 1967. The following year, the CMA Awards was broadcast for the first time – making it the longest-running, annual music awards program on network television.  The CMA Awards moved to ABC in 2006, where it will remain through 2021.

I liked Rayna/Connie Britton was much better in the American Horror Story, Murder House, series!!!

Nashville is good but not great..
It gets flushed by the poor singing..
Nashville would be better if only one song to FF through per show..

Deacon /Charles Esten is the best of them all, actually ..

I have no idea as to why either would be included in the CMA; it just ain’t right!!

Love Nashville and my favorites are Deacon & Rayna. Yes, I’ll be watching and this is just added candy to the night. I loved the girls singing at the end of last year and hope they sing more on the show – love it.
