Nighttime soap fans who love the fresh, hot, young and talented faces of the CW network got some good news today when the CW announced its fall lineup and schedule! The CW will plan to strategically roll-out its new fall season starting in early October 2012, a bit later than the other networks. The reason we hear is to shorten the season and to play fewer reruns and keep the programming original and fresh. There are also several shifts in the schedule.
90210 and Gossip Girl got its pick-up for another season and will air on Monday nights, while Vampire Diaries will be on Thursdays. On-Air On-Soaps recurring podcast guest-host an Dillon Casey’s series, Nikita where he plays Agent Sean Pierce got picked-up and will air on Friday’s Here is what the network said about Nikita! “Season two of this sexy and suspenseful series saw dramatic upheavals in the life of rogue superspy Nikita (played by international action star Maggie Q), as she continued her crusade against Division, the agency that took her from the streets and forced her to kill for the government. Nikita and Michael set out to correct the wrongs of Division… only to discover that Alex, Nikita’s protégé, has joined Division in order to avenge her father’s death. When Nikita helps her achieve her vendetta, the trio is once again united, and a new, powerful team of heroes is formed. These include punk rock hacker Seymour Birkhoff, brilliant CIA analyst Ryan Fletcher, and ex-Navy SEAL Sean Pierce. And another daytime favorite, Wilson Bethel’s (Ex-Y&R) series Hart of Dixie will be on Tuesday’s ,and here is what the network had to say about this show! “Rachel Bilson leads a stellar ensemble cast in this fish-out-of-water comedic drama about small-town living, big-city attitudes and complicated love triangles.
