6 April 4th, 2011 OLTL’S Austin Williams speaks on Shane’s suicide attempt – Watch the Video!

One Life to Live kicks the teenage bullying storyline into high gear with episodes today, April 4th and tomorrow, April 5th! Shane Morasco after being terribly and cruelly humiliated decides to take matters into his own hands. Pushed to the edge, Shane decides to take his own life, by jumping off the Llanview High roof!  It’s a race against time for his parents, Rex and Gigi, to find their son, but will it be too late?

Actor, Austin Williams who has been winning raves for her sensitive portrayal of this real life epidemic that has been sweeping our country’s newspapers and news outlets in recent months, spoke to the Associated Press in this video interview which sets up the story.

    lordy that was a great scene Gigi, Rex and Shane were all excellent–made me cry.
    The Bo and Rex scene was so powerful these actors all rocked

    The rex and gigi scene trying to get shane off the ledge broke my heart. I was crying uncontrollably. I love when oltl gets me to bawl my eyes out. Its not very often. Farah Fath deserves some praise.

    outstanding and Emmy worthy. OLTL has done what the other soaps have not. that is giving us a fresh story which is painful and powerful… the writing is the best out of the 3 abc soaps… sh-sh we dont want Frons to know-he’ll force the writers to write for Gh … he doesnt care about the other soaps only GH.. He has an agenda. and i hope we shut him down before he cancels OLTL… wow how sad… please write Frons boss. or sign on line petition to fire Brian Frons anne.x.sweeney@disney.com

    Great storyline, great writing, great acting–and then OLTL is canceled?! This cast, this crew, these writers consistently produce quality and deserve better.

    I love Austin Williams. He’s fantastic. I felt so bad for him when GIGI died. Now Rex is going to ruin things for him. Rex thinks he’s doing something right.
