This is Lozano’s second full-length play that she has written, and the play has been in development since 2008. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater continues its 16th season with the world premiere of underneathmybed, written by Florencia Lozano and directed by Pedro Pascal. Performances of underneathmybed begin Wednesday, September 1 at the Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place). The official opening night is set for Friday, September 10. The production is scheduled to run through October 10.
In underneathmybed, there’s something underneath Daisy’s bed…something or someone. Everything is not fine in Newton. The ghosts of a foreign dirty war invade the home of the chaotic Jimenez family, while a woman remembers the moment in her life when she disappeared for good.
