Not to take anything away from Phyllis Diller – a great lady, but this reminds me of the passing of my own grandmother back in May. who would have been 95 and who died in her sleep too.

I think once a person gets to a certain age they are just ready to go. They say her injury has nothing to do with it, but I don’t believe that. When you are in your 90s and suffer an injury, I think you get a little depressed. Ms. Diller was probably ready to go and was fortunate to pass peacefully in her sleep. When someone lives such a long life like this, there are no regrets. What a long and illustrious career she had.

Yes I kept it on my dvr and showed it to friends and they died laughing also lol. And yes she was definitely smart as a whip like when she was a year ago on Rosie O’Donnell’s one hour tribute to her on her show. If you haven’t seen that yet you should!

And I loved her on B&B, got to see her last appearance she did a few months ago on there. And love that Rosie O’Donnell had a one hour tribute to her last year with all her old costumes around and the tribute to her from the female comedians who were inspired by her like Chelsea Handler, Kathy Griffin, Loni Love, etc.
