5 April 29th, 2013 Premiere Day: Stars of AMC Battle Stars of OLTL in Soap Opera Rumble! Who Won?

On premiere day morning of all-new episodes of All My Children and One Life to Live, several cast members from both shows appeared on VH-1′s Big Morning Buzz with Carrie Keagan, but as opposing team members in a very cute and hilarious Family Feud game show segment called, ” Soap Opera Rumble”!  Representing One Life to Live were: Robert S. Woods, Andrew Trischitta, Laura Harrier, Robert Gorrie and Kelley Missal and representing All My Children were: Lindsay Hartley, Sal Stowers, Jordan Lane Price, Jill Larson and Denyse Tontz!

From trying to figure out the survey questions of how soap characters die the most, to name a way to explain a character coming back from the dead after they had been killed off, trying to name a place a people go to  have an affair, to lies someone tells on a soap opera, our soap stars had some trouble with this, but also came up with some correct answers too!

See who wins … AMC or OLTL… after the jump and watch the “Soap Opera Rumble”! What do you think of the two segments? Great way to bring in the VH-1 audience? We thought it was fun!

    wow great move!!
All the young hot women and young hot men on VH1 cable network for younger generation, the ”in” young getting acquainted with the cooler side of soap gender (no longer only for mom and grandma)..
Now, that is trolling for young blood..
That is good to bring in a few thousand young viewers showing the candy lol ..

Nice to have the anchors BO and Opal with them ..

What a terrific way to attract young viewers. This isn’t your grandma’s soap opera anymore.

I enjoyed seeing the mixture of old and new cast members, but the VH1 host was a moron.

  4. Annie says:

It was such a fun segment. Now it’s time for…AMC vs OLTL “Price is Right”! Or Wipeout!

  5. CTwildheart says:

It was a fun segment…but it could have been absolutely fabulous if the host was better. It seemed like VH1 (or whoever set this up) didn’t do a lot of planning or rehearsing. Loved seeing them all!
