I really hope they do not put Tad and Dixie together again.. Been there done that for the past 2 decades..
I would like to Tad having power and take over Cortland electronics.. to have Tad be a business man and kick some Chandler azz!!!!!

It was so sad watching Tad either chase after or pick up after Dixie for 20yrs and never grow into a powerful man..
I want Tad to have challenges and hot playful women entanglements- bring some Tad the Cad back matured.
Mr Tad Martin in charge, for once ..
    (not Dixie’s pick-up boy ..

Tad will not be on initially so you don’t have to worry about that. I’m sure Dixie will be dealing with JR’s problems. Tad and Dixie were together at the end, so to explain tads absence I’m sure they’ll say they’re broken up again. Ugh. I want them together.

Agree – someone actually appreciates the fans and listens to them!! On another note – DO NOT give up John McBain character he belongs with Natalie and Liam, even if we have to recast. I’ll miss Michael Easton-love him, but John McBain belongs to OLTL!!

Will we be able to see AMC online in Canada without having to pay for it?
    Miss you guys.
Also will AMC be going from the last episode of where J.R. shot the gun or will we be starting somewhere different?

It appears they are starting AMC 5 years into the future with J.R. waking up from a coma. I just hope they explain what happen those last five years. did he shoot himself or did someone shoot him or is he in a coma from something else. did he shoot anyone ect.

They are skipping ahead five years. Aging some of the kids to teenagers. And apparently JR will be coming out of a coma in the first episode.
But you know there’s no way theyre not going to cover the party/gunshot and what’s happened to everyone over the last “five years”. They’ll have to explain the change up in Pine Valley somehow. ;-)

I think you should be able to see it by going onto the internet to hulu.com. I don’t think you need huluplus. The plus is the version you have to pay for.

You can also buy something like a streaming media player set-top box, connect it to the internet and your TV and watch it that way. You just need to buy a box that can connect to hulu.com – I bought a Sony box from Amazon. Check it out!

Michael, Thank you for pointing us towards Jordi Vilasuso’s Paos Revolution website.
He has a very interesting concept and classy style. I look foward to him adding content and seeing the film he has the trailer for.

Is there any word on if Prospect Park is going to do publicity for the relaunch of the shows. In other words, are you planning a trip to Stamford CT to do interviews?

P.S. I adjusted my screen name on your comments section as someone else named Mark is commenting here and we don’t appear to have the same way of thinking!

Thanks for all the work you do keeping us informed.

Yep, and even closer to these watered down-computer screen “reboots” almost certainly falling in complete failure. I give this three months, not a week more. These shows almost certainly can’t/won’t survive without a traditional TV home, with online advertising as their only revenue stream. It just does not add up, case closed.

Outside of the loud, rabid die hards (who in reality are not as large a group as they stubbornly continue to believe/insist), I just don’t see enough older, casual former viewers (not to mention new younger viewers, for that matter) going out of their way to watch these abominations on a small computer screen. No matter what PP execs say, there’s just no way these soaps will have the same production values as when they were on ABC. The large majority of mainstream people moved on quite a while ago to other programs/routines and don’t care about this anymore. IMO, being off the air for more than a year each won’t help these soaps, especially AMC if Susan Lucci doesn’t appear regularly. I don’t see any way that this project works and satisfies everyone.

I agree to an extent. And I’m still very hopeful that they may air on a cable network; how wouldn’t that be a win-win? More people would be able to watch, plus it brings in more money for Prospect Park, correct?

I don’t want to agree but I think they really need Susan Lucci and to a lesser extent Tad. Younger viewers won’t care about Erica or Tad so much though Erica as a grandmother to some of the teens would be a hoot (I can just see it now some teenage stud drooling over grandma Erica lol). But they need the roots or the rock and with Joe Martin retired, David Canary isn’t an original nor is Michael E knight it really is Erica.l And Lucci amazingly looks great for any age though it appears many feel she is too old – she looks great people and doesn’t have to go to a Phoebe role yet. Lucci is the rock and the glue especially if they want the former viewers. Love or hate Erica – she was an intriguing character. No one seems to know what the problem is about hiring Lucci. is Lucci demanding too much or is it a case of she can’t break her contract with Devious Maids and or Deadly Affairs? I would say PP should figure a way to make it work. At the very least Lucci will get them pblicity which they need. Sorry there are some diehard fans but it is the non diehard fans and they will only know Lucci if anyone on AMC. Maybe a bit of Ryan but Lucci is one of the few soap stars who transcends daytime tv. Not even Tony Geary, Deidre hall, Eric Braeden, Genie Francis, Kelly monaco, Melody Thomas Scott, Kristian Alfonso, Erika Slezak, Kim Zimmer, Martha byrne, Elizabeth Hubbard – they all are daytime stars but don’t have the clout or interest for nite time.

The note was very sweet and I can tell and feel the excitement of Mr. Kwantinetz’s sentiments. The day they yell “action”….it’ll be so surreal/emotional for the actors. Probably would want to be pinched during the 1st few scenes.

I know I’ll be watching the episodes for a few times, so it’ll sink in.

I also hope the networks and cable take notice. Esp since talk shows are being cancelled left and rgt. There’s too many of’em, we need diverse programming!!!

Can’t wait for AMC and OLTL:)

AMC & OLTL are pioneers – the first network TV shows to move to the internet. Even if the nay sayers are right about their possible failure – TV and the Internet will soon merge. Many younger people no longer watch TV at all – they watch everything online.
I so wish these shows all the success they deserve. With good writing and freed from narrow minded network censorship they could soar!

I think OLTL has a much better shot of making it than AMC though it should be the other way around because AMC has a better brand the problem is OLTL got back its core characters and AMC didn’t or doesn’t. Jesse and Angie are add ons and are not central – The Martins, The Kanes and The Chandlers are the core Then maybe the Courtlands and the Tylers. AFter them is the third tier including Jesse and Angie as for Cara and her brother who I cannot remember his name – they did not have the character strength of theLaitio crowd of Maria and her sister (Santos). All AMC has some recurring characters (Brooke and Adam) but the roots are weak without the Kanes or Martins. The linkage is weak for the charcters though many are doctors. David need some people to play off of like Erica. And what point is Opal without Tad or Erica? Julia Barr is great but is limited with Adam and being mother. She needs the banter with Erica. OLTL meanwhile has all its big characters back – I am not sure what PP is trying to do as rumour has it they are filming AMC first when clearly it seems logical to film OLTL – they have had far more time to deal with the script and have all the major characters back. AMC is missing one ifs main and core familes – the Kanes. Maybe they all died in a tragic accident or went up to the attic with that martin boy who went to bed and never was seen again.
