The ratings are out for the week of November 14th-18th and it was General Hospital that showed the most gains in viewers among total viewers and addtions in all the key womens demos.
It was Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) confession at Morgan’s funeral that gave the 11/14 episode of the ABC soap opera over 2.9 million viewers, which was the most-watched episode of the week of GH. For the week, in total viewers, GH added +94,000 up to 2,716,000 in its average tally. GH was the only soap to be in the plus column and add viewers in the key demos of 18-49, 18-24, and in the 25-54 category GH and Y&R were up.
The Young and the Restless also added total viewers for the week with +59,000 bring their tally to 4,559,000. However, Y&R tied an all-time low in the 18-49 ratings share for the seventh straight week.
The Bold and the Beautiful took the biggest hit for the ratings period losing -117,000 total viewers, and tying an all-time low in 18-49 viewers. The CBS soap also tied all-time lows in the ratings share for the 18-34 and 18-49 female demos.
Days of our Lives was down slightly from the previous week losing 33,000 total viewers, but continued to tie an all-time low in the 18-34 ratings share. View the entire ratings via SON here.
