The ratings for the week of April7-11th are out and once again the pendulum swung to all networks soaps losing viewers. However, there was also some interesting gains in the key demos for a couple of your favorite daytime soaps!
First, General Hospital tied The Young and the Restless as the #1 soap in the key 18-49 women’s demo with the same ratings share! But in the total viewers in the demo category, Y&R is slightly ahead of GH for the week with an added 24,000.
In addition, it was CBS Daytime’s The Bold and the Beautiful that looked the healthiest overall, being ahead of last year at this time in total viewers, and having solid gains in key demos including women 18-34, 18-49, 25-54.
Overall, The Young and the Restless is still at number one with 4,432,000 total viewers for the week losing -112,000 the most of any soap. B&B is in at number two, followed by GH in third, and then Days of our Lives. You can view the entire ratings picture courtesy of SON here.
