The ratings are out for the week of September 5- 9 and overall, almost all the daytime soap operas picked up new viewers and were on an upswing. Most notably was the number two ranked, The Bold and the Beautiful! The CBS sudser added a whopping +264,000 viewers for the ratings period! And went up in total households and key demos in women 18-34 and 18-49!
The next big story of the week was All My Children which in its final weeks, looks like people are getting back on-board the Pine Valley train with the much improved writing and the series paying homage to the history of the legacy of the 41-year-old-soap! AMC added an additional + 223,000 viewers and moved into the 4th position ahead of General Hospital!
The number one soap, The Young and the Restless had a bit of a comeback after weeks of some worrisome ratings. They boosted their top spot by adding +206,000 eyeballs. And, One Life to Live again, continued to hold steady at number three garnering +92,000 viewers as well.
