    Love him. Can’t wait.

The show has become rather predictable and lackluster of late. Bringing on
Tommy Flanagan as Mr. Black is exactly what Revenge needs to get it’s
motor running. Only three episodes left of SOA and crying already !!!

Do you really think it’s predictable and lackluster? I think just the opposite. I think it’s been fantastic…I’m very curious about where David’s been and why he didn’t contact Amanda…I think the writers managed to take the initial concept of REVENGE after which Emily/Amanda had accomplished what she set out to do…spring from that others revenge. While I don’t know if it can match the inital grip it held on me…I really loved Emily with Daniel and the entire “feel” of the Hamptons…I also adored Aidan and miss him on the show. Conrad was a major player and thus a big loss. With all that said, still quite taken with the remaining characters and story…looking forward to his newest arrival!

The Original concept created was Fresh, and kept interesting for 2 + seasons.
The backdrop and characters equally beautiful, seductive, deceptive…
How would Emily/Amanda continue to surprise and stun us, without alienating
us in her quest to avenge her father. After all one Victoria is enough on any show!
The show has taken some wrong turns as you mentioned Rebecca, Conrad
and Aidan being 2 of them… that has bled the show out since its stunning debut.
With Tommy’s entrance, I know my interest will be rekindled.

I’m not familiar with Tommy Flanagan. Never saw Sons of Anarchy but heard good things about it. If I like him I may just try to catch up to that show. As for Revenge…yes…I think it might possibly have a few good seasons left. Funny. I actually like Daniel; I always felt he was an innocent in Emily’s plan. All the viewer saw was a gorgeous, smart, successful guy who really loved her. I completely understand his resentment toward Emily/Amanda…wonder if they’re going to start calling her Amanda from now on…but I thought that conversation in the elevator said a lot. For me, it showed he truly had cared about her and needed answers. I personally think she owed him more of a “chat” than she gave him. Then again there was that silly little thing like six/seven? minutes she had to climb out of the elevator, break into the room, steal what she needed to and get out in the nick of time. LOL…

    I already love Malcolm !!

    (love the bad guys!)

It’s ironic ABC tried to rationalize dropping AMC and OLTL party because soaps were a dying breed. Well get ready nighttime audiences on just how bizarre the twists and turns in soaps can be.

Daytime soaps are stuck in the 20th century and have a PG rating..
They are slow moving and not even a ”damn you” is said in anger ..

The Prime Time soaps are a whole different world than Daytime soaps..

((ABC could not afford 3 soaps, it is more than crazy to even believe ABC could keep 3 soaps going, never going to happen, ever..

I know you love GH. So do I as you probably know. I think GH is bringing in a lot of intensity, heightened emotions, including rage, anger, hysteria…all conveyed through facial expressions, body language and dialog without swearing. It’s not that I’m against it…I just don’t think they need it…and I don’t think it makes for better drama. I remember that became a huge discussion with everyone weighing in on Prospect Park’s soaps. My opinion? They sucked. The “forbidden worlds of network” were thrown in just because they could. And all the cursing in the world couldn’t match the intensity of emotion that GH has. They’re not necessary for realism…
