9 November 24th, 2010 Sheffer-Stevens, Robuck, & Duell among TV Guide Canada’s Hottest Newcomers!

Just in time for Thanksgiving, TV Guide Canada offers up it’s list of the Hottest Soap Opera Newcomers of 2010 to give our soapy thanks for. Compiled by Nelson Branco, the hot list includes those men and women whose standout performances over the past year on daytime, caught our collective attention. Some our television newbies and some are veteran performers who appeared on soaps for the first time.

ATWT’s fan favorite, Eric Sheffer-Stevens (Reid), One Life to Live’s, Nic Robuck (James) and General Hospital’s, Chad Duell (Michael) are a just a few who made the list that also includes Sean Young for her performance as Meggie on Y&R.

    There’s only one hot newcomer for me and that’s Eric Sheffer Stevens!The character of Dr. Reid Oliver was so unique and wonderful.And it didn’t hurt that those gorgeous blue eyes, that sexy curly hair and that snarky attitude made him so hot, hot, hot! He has such great acting skills and was one half of the hottest couple in daytime, the other half being Van HansisI’m in love and all i can say is watch him for yourself, You’ll see!

    Wow I loved that Nic Robuck was in this. Very talented young man, and a bonus that he his hot. I love the pic with him and Kristen Alderson above. I’m a huge Starr/James fan so it works for me..LOL

    To me this list is Eric Sheffer Stevens, and everybody else. This is in no way a bash of the other actors, many of whom are just starting out, and show terrific potential. It’s just that ESS is light years ahead not only of this promising group, but 99% of the actors in daytime. He’s just that good.

    funny that i must agree that eric sheffer stevens is the hottest newcomer cos that is not the first thing that i would point out.ever since VAN HANSIS,he is the only one that CAN ACT.so really does not matter how good looking a soap actor is when they are all acting like anybody pulled from the street would be capable of.Van and Eric were even too good to be in soap.TOO FANTASTIC,but too good to waste anymore of their time in one.

    I agree…Eric is the hottest newcomer , but Van Hansis is adorable and so hot.These two guys really know how to act.I’m missing both of them so much.Eric does deserve this hottest newcomer award….he made me and every body else take notice and we loved what we saw!!!

    Eric Sheffer Stevens is the best thing to come to soaps since Van Hansis and the two of them together is just as good as it gets…EVER!!! The fans were wild for their love story and it was just about two people so right for each other that you knew nothing would keep them apart (I guess, except for the “death scene” ATWT writers gave us) We rejected the death scene and choose to believe that was all a dream NOah was having, lol), Luke and Reid are alive and well. Reid got the COS position and Luke and Reid are working side by side at the new wing of the hospital..

    i rejected the death scene the day I saw it.In my mind it was a nightmare Luke had, but he and Reid are still together and in love.As a matter of fact iI’m writing fan fiction and if i ever get it done it will tell their happy story.To me they will always be the best couple in daytime….thanks to the wonderful acting of Van Hansis and Eric Sheffer Stevens ..I do miss ATWT, and i miss seeing Van and Eric on the screen!I would love to know where we could see them.Help Michael!!!!!

    michael all of us dusty and janet fans would love it if you could get julie pinson and grayson mccouch interviewed and see if people would love to see them together again on dool as a couple
