The final stop on The So Long Springfield tour was this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Rio Allsuites Hotel and Casino. This bittersweet fan event was also the end of the long series of goodbyes from the cast of Guiding Light.
The soap went off the air this past September and the GL heavy hitters were there in full force including Justin Deas ( Buzz) who never attends such functions. The six-time Daytime Emmy winner was accompanied by his son, Joe. Speaking of Emmy winners, four-time Daytime Emmy winner Kim Zimmer (Reva) along with her on-screen love Robert Newman (Josh) wowed the crowd.
And those gals from Venice formerly known as Otalia, Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia also made the trip to Sin City! Jeff Branson(Shayne) and his mom attended, as did GL stalwart Frank Dicopolous (Frank) and Ron Raines (Alan)and Gina Tognoni (Dinah) with new hair color and do. Me thinks’ its for her return as Kelly Cramer on One Life! Check out the pics!
