6 January 23rd, 2012 SOAPnet’s Robin & Patrick Marathon set for Valentine’s Day!

Oh boy!  Does this mean we need to get out the hankies soon?  Probably, since Kimberly McCullough (Robin)  is set to leave GH in the very near future!

In honor of Scrubs, (the very popular duo of  Doctors Robin and Patrick Drake), SOAPnet will make it a Valentine’s Day to remember as they celebrate the February holiday with a General Hospital marathon featuring beloved couple Robin and Patrick in four special one-hour episodes.  The marathon airs Sunday, February 12, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., ET/PT.

The following episodes will air (all times Eastern and Pacific):

3:00 p.m. — Episode 11170 – A determined Patrick shows up outside of Robin’s window and declares his love. She finally succumbs and admits she loves him too. Original airdate: November 7, 2006.

4:00 p.m. – Episode 11677 – Robin and Patrick’s daughter, Emma, is born and they introduce her to the family. Original airdate: November 4, 2008.

5:00 p.m. – Episode 11712 – In front of their family and friends, Robin and Patrick are married. Original airdate: December 29, 2008.

6:00 p.m. – Episode 11961 – Robin and Patrick share a special celebration in honor of their first anniversary. Original airdate: December 29, 2009.

   the episode when Robin and Patrick slept together 4 the first. I think they were at a cabin in the woods. [we also get 2 see Carly and Jax] thats a plus

   Absolutely love the choices, but had there been room for one more episode, I would have loved May 29, 2006, the first time they made love.

   The night they were together when Robin was grieving for Georgie was a good one too.

   I will miss their love story. They give it their all.

   I love that they’re having a Robin & Patrick marathon, especially in light of Kimberly leaving GH. However why is it only 3-7? They could have included the first time they met or some other influential pieces in their relationship. I really hope as Soapnet slowly disappears, they continue to have more marathons with episodes from years past.

   I would have preferred a full-on Robin marathon. McCullough had some rich stories worth revisiting prior to Patrick’s arrival in Port Charles. As she makes an exit, it would be nice to see this legacy character’s evolution from an earlier point in time.

   This is music to my ears. GH has not been known in recent years for their romance, but one couple has managed to shine brightly through the darkness, and that is Scrubs. I am excited to see that Kimson and Scrubs are getting much deserved attention.
