Can you really ever take a Ewing down? You dont even try if you know whats good for you! But with J.R. gone that could change. The Ewings going to seem a little weaker and more vulnerable without the master fighter. Whata good fight that couldve been. Hope the next generation learned a thing or two from him.

I’m more worried about the ratings taking down the Ewings. Have the come as the season has progressed? Anyone Know?

Ooooh, love Steven Weber!! Dallas is awesome, but I’m SO going to miss Larry Hagman. Breaks my heart watching him deteriorating onscreen :( I’ll be so sad to watch his final episode.

I am glad SW is joining the cast. Really going to miss Larry Hagman; however if the rumors are true and Victoria Principle may return I am soooooo there. They could not have done a better job casting John Ross. He literally could step up and take over for JR.

There’s too many people trying to take down the Ewings! Even John Ross! But I know it’ll make for good drama, so I’m still watching!

The kid who plays John Ross(Josh Henderson) has MORE than proven he can ‘carry the reins’ for JR(Larry Hagman), that kid can carry this show. I loved the show because of JR’s scheming ways, and I will miss Larry Hagman, but he’s been relegated to a background career in the revival.. too bad they couldn’t have done this 5 years ago.

As a long-time fan, the old favorites are what brought me back, but the new cast led by JR, Pamela and Christopher are what keep me. I think the producers/writers did a great job passing the torch to the next generation.

It’s going to be great watching John Ross continue to grow and show the world he really is his daddy’s son. I’d like to see JR’s eldest son, Sasha Mitchell, return. It’d be nice to see the brothers join forces or perhaps go at each other. A lot of rich history for the show to draw on.
