La Lucci is in the house, that’s right! Tonight on Tuesday’s live installment of  NBC’s new series, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (8PMET), the All My Children icon and Devious Maids favorite will be part of the action.

Anything can happen on Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris which each episodes features appearances by A-list stars, stunts, comedy skits, performances, mini game shows, audience giveaways and hidden camera pranks.  Based on the wildly popular British hit Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, the genre-busting format is making for one of the best nights ever on TV. Tuesday, Jack Black serves as this week’s celebrity guest announcer. Apolo Ohno, Today Show Anchors Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie, and The B-52s are also slated to appear.

Meanwhile, Susan Lucci will lend her voice to this week’s ‘Best Time Ever’ to surprise a member of the studio audience.  And viewers can also expect:  Jack Black to be in the show’s guest announcer booth to give the audience a preview of what’s to come throughout the hour.  A fan favorite segment “Singalong Live”  headlined by The B-52s. where  three home viewers are challenged to complete the lyrics to a popular karaoke song in a live sing-along led by an iconic musical performer.

Olympic Gold medalist Apolo Ohno makes a returns as a correspondent for “Ticket to Slide,” where one lucky couple will have the chance to win the trip of a lifetime when Ohno turns up live in their city with a giant inflatable slide.

And disguised in elaborate prosthetics, Harris turns the cameras on Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie when he goes undercover for a fun-filled prank on the “Today” anchors.  The episode will feature other surprises and culminate with a red-hot “End Of The Show Show” featuring Queen of the Night.

I’m sorry but this show makes no sense to me..on the other hand Susan Lucci has me rolling on the floor with devious maids..she climbs out an elevator while her pregnant maid is in labor and turns to say I’ve been dieting all my life for this..i.e. to slide out a small crawl space..this woman has the vivacity and do or die nature of Erica Kane without a whole bunch of silly nonsense..just brilliant comic timing.

Susan Lucci is shining on Devious Maids. Erica Kane who? LOL I don’t think Genevieve is too much like Erica – she is so much more naïve, needy but OMG hilarious. the women rocks the comedy – who would have thought – now bring on that EMMY. As for Neil Patrick Harris new show – interesting is all I can say. I actually heard Lucci sing on some show – she’s not bad at all. Not as good as Whitney Houston mind you but decent :)
